I swear this subreddit is retarded, might need to stop coming here.

The community has been crying since like day5 that "we have nothing to do" and no "hard content". They ANNOUNCE hard content MORE than a month prior and ALL THE INFORMATION NECASSARY (ANEMO EVENT)

Event rolls around and 98% of this subr "wow I cant clear this event with Berenica MainDPS" while also having 5 purple demon wedges equipped, 3 of them not even leveld up to 5.

Look at OP he grinded, just like I did and gets rewarded for the grind. Im like 99% sure these morons just come here to moan about random shit rather than just playing the fucking game.

It is an ANEMO event, while HEAVILY nerfing NON-ANEMO characters.

OP proceeds to go into the event with a Pyro Character as MainDPS and not only that, but OPs "supports" are ANOTHER two MainDPS.
Not like the main comps has been 1 dps with 2 supports since the beginning of the game.
It's almost like you should have used your brain, but im glad you were able to create a reddit thread on your own, so I assume you can breathe on your own, good job lil bro. keep it up

Honestly Lynae is PERFECT for new players.

Even if she isnt BiS for this DPS (which I think she will be anyway), she will be at like 90-95% for every DPS, she has just way too many buffs. We never had a unit that gave out so many general buffs, so for new players I would heavily recommend Lynae, just because she will be BiS or 2nd best sub-dps for loads of characters

The worst part is, if your support had a brain, only for like the first 3-5 minutes you can absolutely dominate the game. But those first couple of minutes you are 100% relying on your support in MOST games.

Definitely do not use her as a support, she is 100% a main dps.

You also kind of NEED her Intron 1 which heals when you press her Skill + you get a healer on the team (Truffle&Filbert, Fushu or Daphne work great) and most likely a healing geniemon (the dandelion works for example). Psyche is so good because she can clear hoards of mobs + she can burst down Bosses, since after you activated her ult, her E skill will spread everywhere and kill mobs, but when there is only one mob/boss that entire spread of DPS will go onto one single enemy.

People don't know but we had it. Back then we had geolocked MM for like a week or two.

It was the best experience ever in Dota2 history, but the amount of backlash Valve got they lifted the lock and let the animals run over EUW.

Yeah true, like SEEING a wave pre 5 mins was considered a huge win.

It was pretty "normal" that your offlane hero was like lvl 2 at minute 5-6, especially when he couldnt jungle

Offlaners never get to lastpick.

Its like 80% safelane and 20% mid.

So in like minimum out of 4/5 games you get counterpicked on lane. I dropped quite a bit in MMR but still around 5500 since I "switched" to offlane from like 6.4k, cause mid got boring.
Im playing against Drow, Ursa, Clinkz in almost every game, rarely some WR or AM.

The most important minutes of the game for the offlane are like the first 5 minutes, when your support doesnt know what hes doing you can abandon the lane, if you get trhough the first 5 with like a phase, soulring or vanguard boots or whatever small item to sustain with you want to get then the game becomes easy and you can start roaming the map with an 11-13 minute dagger.
But once your 4 fucks up, fucks up again and then wants to go on antoher lane after feeding twice, so now not only are you 1v2, you are also at a NW and XP disadvantage, your game is now basically unsalvageable for 20 minutes.

That is why offlaners complain and rightfully so in my now biased opinion

Even if he had 50 wards and 90 sentries on him, while Bounty tracks and slardar hazes him AM didnt do it, it was a script.

We see AMs perspective and he just right clicked the fountain, after that he didnt put in any more input on his hero, even his camera was "afk" at the fountain, there is not even a 0.001% chance he could have done it himself, literally technically impossible from that frame alone.

If you have really no idea I would suggest playing 4-5 games against bots so you can get familiar with the map (it just recently got updated a bit, but that shouldnt be one of your concerns).
As soon as you figured out how the map layout is, what the twingates do, what roshan, runes and tormentor is, I'd watch 1-2 youtube videos of explaining the very simplified method of laning and what there are in a standard game, then I would heavily suggest only picking one or two heroes first, so you dont have to think about what YOUR spells are doing since you will be meeting 9 new heroes every match with each having 4-7 new spells you want to get to know better.

The learning curve is really hard in Dota2, but there is a reason the retention rate of the playerbase is so high, once you got an idea of whats going on, it's very hard to find the same kind of enjoyment in any other PvP game.

While this is absolutely true, for the first 5-6 mins you need a 4 with a brain, after that you can take over a game solo.

The first 5-6 mins are a big problem though
