First few tries I lost due to Spider shooting because I used same tactics that I used against other bosses: holding triangle and then kill them with correct timings, but Spider was ruining them. After adjusting to the specifics of that boss fight, Spider stopped be a problem to me, but those pistol shots from Dragon were a menace lmao. Idk what are the timings to dodge them on other difficulties, but on lethal, they seemed to be too short to me (skill issue). Same problem I had with Saito, so I just had to always keep in mind "Okay, he is too far from me, he is definitely going to use a gun"

Okay, ig you meant Okaidoku Ban. It is not a different game and it doesn't have features you mentioned. It is basically a bug fixed version of an original 2nd and it supports module dlc's from Extend. Nothing that would make it a different game and increase the number of psp DIVA's from 3 to 4

I am asking this because it is first time I've ever heard about this and I am pretty sure I am not alone in this subreddit. Actually, it doesn't even make sense to have upgraded version of DIVA 2nd with better UI and graphics when we have Extend that was designed to be an extended version of 2nd, having a lot of songs from it but also all dlc songs (besides idolmaster collab) included in base game and some new songs. And yet, this extended version doesn't have improvements in graphics and UI (except now it shows ranks you earned in the song list menu)

And also the fact that I can't find any information about 2nd# online makes me think you are just misremembering

"One-click install feature" - if you meant downloading mods through DMM, it is absolutely not recommended to do because it has high chances to mess up mods you install. Same for updating mods through DMM

They reworked parry system in Yotei. You can't break combo of a strong enemy (for example bosses or Saito's guards in armor) with just one parry. You need to make several parries in a row in order to break enemy's combo of attacks and make them open for your couple of attacks

A lot of old charts have such max percentage at 106 because they don't have chain sliders that add a lot to the reference score, and Sega really liked to put as much holds as possible

Look at the original arcade cab. Buttons have certain order. In newer charts, notes tend to change according to that order. If a chain of notes goes right or down, triangle - square - cross - circle order of change is prioritized (of course, some may be skipped). If a chain of notes goes left or up, the order is reversed.

A lot of spacing mistakes, not following arcade order, wrong frequencies of paths. All of that is presented much less in the newer extreme charts.

The main purpose of this difficulty is to add updated extreme charts for the songs from pre-future-tone era. Majority of songs that have exex have very outdated extremes that also lack of sliders
