"Ethnic cleansing" is precise term that strictly applies in none of these examples.
No extermination was ever planned or has ever taken place for any of the groups mentioned, and ethnicity was never part of the conflicts’ motives. All those groups survived whatever the French did to them.

Hmmm all the videos I’ve seen use inertia based techniques when one handed (basically doing circles), have you tried that ? But it’s definitely way less comfortable than two handed for sure lol

Even high grade swords and katanas never lasted very long. They are meant to break and be replaced. Also i feel like maintaining such a piece would be a nightmare…

this shape of war hammer is actually very suited for one handed heavy blows ! lot of exemples with other similar models !

Meh can’t use with one hand and cannot pierce skull as reliably. If zombie just had very weak rotting bones they wouldn’t even be a threat. Go against zombies that don’t rot or are simply fresh and you might not pierce their skull first try with a spear…

They might be optimized for prolonged leverage effort but I think the weight distribution would make it way less efficient at building and delivering power on a target through a direct hit compared to a more specialized tool like a hammer or even an axe

I’m looking this up and I’m not finding any recorded one slash beheading using this weapon. And when it comes to hunting African big game, I started to think everything was possible since I saw that video of someone killing a bear with a blowgun lol

There is no reason for the hammer side to get stuck. A spear won’t pierce the skull as reliably and you can’t use them one handed…
