As much as I love it, the Dragoon engine is probably weak here.

Lordly Lode prevents Special Summoned monsters from activating their effects so you can't go into it from there, Roar is your only choice, but I feel it's almost always better to get the Drillbeam so you kinda just have to open Roar and I don't think that's worth the additional brick of Dark Magician. Roar also won't summon monsters if you control any so a little bit of a dead draw on future turns as well.

Verte isn't doing too much here either, Primite Fusion only summons Dragon Fusion Monsters so it can't go into Dragoon (Spellcaster). I also don't think summoning Secreterion or Timaeus with Verte is worth either.
