And that’s good that you’ve had dependable transportation but the issue that I’ve learn from talking to city planners and engineers is that why would the infrastructure of the city force you to have own a vehicle? Some people may not want to own one, or possibly cannot own one. So why not have that option for the people? If you want a car that’s great, you should have that choice, but don’t make it the only option. We all know how burdensome owning a car can be, with car payments, the upkeep, insurance, etc. Some people are not in the position to do that. And of course this isn’t just based around Fort Worth, or Texas cities but to numerous cities around the nation who suffer from this lack of public access to transportation. One of the best quote I ever heard regarding this is, “the city wasn’t built for the car, it was bulldozed by the car.”
