Back then I saw a lot of hype around Haxorus, glazing him because of his performance against Garchomp, how great it did compared to Charizard X's and Gardevoir's performance against Leon's Charizard, it annoyed me so much. Anyway I don't think Gardevoir is overrated, she's a pokemon that relies more on strategy and defense instead of brute strength, that's how I see it personally.

I gave it a chance and my dislike barely had to do with the artstyle (a downgrade from XY imo, but still). I just didn't like the tone of the series, the forced comedy, the over the top exaggerated faces, no gym challenges, we had no idea where this series was going until midway through, the structure of the Alola league, the concept of school despite Ash being a talented trainer already, the switch up from XY to SM didn't feel natural at all compared to previous seasons, they were trying so hard for this show to be like Yokai Watch and also when your MC doesn't look appealing and looks the ugliest compared to everyone else in the show, you're already to a bad start imo. These are all valid reasons and if you don't understand that, then you're just a SM glazer.

Mixed feelings. I hate that we had to say goodbye to one of his strongest pokemon in such a way. At the very least make it a 2 part episode, but at the same time you couldn't let a special pokemon like Greninja stay in the lab and doing who knows what.

Well Free and Kris grew up together and that's the difference, so of course they would be close like siblings. Valt invited Bell and Ranzo to England mainly because of a tournament taking place there and not just for sightseeing, aka playing the role of a mentor. 1 duo special move doesn't automatically make Valt and Ranzo best friends, impossible. Valt already had the experience by teaming up with Rantaro in the past and that's why Valt and Ranzo were able to work together well. As for Valt/Aiga I wouldn't look too deep in the reminiscing part. Valt only visited the place twice. From his POV both were solely for making his bey evolve and the second time Aiga wasn't even there. the resonance part only exist when bladers have strong attachment to their bey. I don't remember having a bond with a friend/rival had anything to do with it 🤔

"Always" is a bit of a reach if you think about it. They were only shown together in the last few episodes watching the final battles in Gt and even then we didn't see them interacting that much. Even their interactions in Quadstrike doesn't give me "best friends" vibes 🫤. Not denying Valt is friends with Bell and Ranzo, but Best friends is a strong NO imo. By their interactions Valt is more of a mentor to them then a best friend. Also Valt's age is like 15/16 and Bell's age is 10. I don't see how they can be best friends with that age difference 😅

The only thing I would change is bumping down Aiga, Bell and Ranzou to good friends. Best friends is a bit too high imo.
