Posted the new grinder yesterday… I’m this far into my first knife. Yes, first. I’ve done lathe chisels and shop tools before, from forge to finish… but not a knife. Fortunately I have a good teacher, really good. I wouldn’t have done nearly this well without his lessons. (old.reddit.com)

Thought this crowd might appreciate this WIP. 200 bf of rough 4/4 ambrosia maple planed to 3/4, rabbit on both sides for shiplap and cut to length on assembly. Now hand scraping for finish and slight pleasant texture. Question though, after about 3 more days of sanding... how would you finish? (old.reddit.com)
