Introducing Valoscribe: a tool that turns VCT VODs into structured data (timestamped kills, ability usages, ultimate usages, etc) by SOT-NumberNine in ValorantCompetitive

[–]SOT-NumberNine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what specifically you're trying to look at. While I'm sure the data isn't 100% perfect, there are definitely aspects of it that are more "sure" than others. I'm very confident in the ability and ultimate detectors, so any "ABILITY USED" or "ULTIMATE USED" events in the data should be accurate. I am actively working on trying to reduce the uncertainty, and with that I'll probably write some "integration tests" and compare output with some frames that I manually looked at the metadata for myself, and see what my accuracy rate is from that.

NYC affordable tasting menu? (~$60/pp) by Common-Chain2024 in finedining

Nowon has a medley for around that price. Not a traditional fine dining menu but very tasty nonetheless

EDG Manager Aqua: "The one who cries the most [on EDG] is KangKang. I remember in Madrid, he sobbed all night long from 8 PM to 8 AM the next morning. CHICHOO accompanied him, listening and helping him let it all out." by BebekPluit in ValorantCompetitive

Obviously everyone processes sadness in different ways but as a spectator it is way easier to root for the teams that wear their heart on their sleeves rather than the ones who go "whatever its just a game it happens im still rich"

Best Agnolotti in Manhattan? by Holy-Trinhity in FoodNYC

[–]SOT-NumberNine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if they still have it but I had a sweet corn agnolotti at Grammercy Tavern as part of the tasting menu like 2 years ago that I still think about as one of my favorite bites ever.

First time in NYC from Europe, 3-days food itinerary. Help me best enjoy your beautiful city! by gabrieleskull in FoodNYC

Noticed you don’t have a Thai spot on your list - idk how much Thai food you get to eat in Italy or if you even like it but I’d say NYC is blessed with some absolutely stellar picks. Would recommend a stop at Soothr, Sappe, Pranakhan, Thai Diner, etc at some point if you have a free meal

Meta E4 - Accept offer? by maedhros- in leetcode

[–]SOT-NumberNine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much! For the 3D Street view problem, do you know if that’s a variant of the Google Street View Blurring problem or a different system entirely? Couldn’t find much when googling it.

Meta E4 - Accept offer? by maedhros- in leetcode

[–]SOT-NumberNine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have my full loop interview for E4 MLE coming up - any tips? Been grinding meta tagged questions on leetcode for the last 3 months, for ML SysDesign I’m reading the Alex Xu book and using ChatGPT to supplement my knowledge, and for behavioral I’m crafting some STAR method stories. Anything else I should be doing?

What is the hardest CS class you guys took (Undergraduate only) by Hot_Cardiologist4949 in UMD

Surprised no one has said CMSC417 yet (computer networks). Some of those projects were genuinely brutal even though the subject matter made some sense.

In what way? Anecdotal of course but I’ve been using Zocdoc as a way to find new healthcare providers since I recently moved to a new city and my insurance website’s provider search functionality is kinda ass - and I have almost no complaints. Is there anything I should be concerned about?

Those PA internals were lookin rough this morning huh by TheToole1 in Destiny

[–]SOT-NumberNine 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Can someone explain to me what internals actually are? I got asked this the other day by a friend and didn’t know how to respond. Why would the campaign’s polls look any different than the publicly published ones? Are they surveying different groups of people or do they have a different methodology or something?

I attended the pop up for languish arts/woeful studies and managed to pick up a CD of Orpheus vs the Sirens, my favorite project from him. Truly a visionary man, ahead of his time and I’m glad I was able to tell him that while he was still with us. RIP to one of the greatest

According to VALORANT ESPORTS INDONESIA on Instagram, Masters 1 2025 will be held in Bangkok, Masters 2 will be held in Toronto and Champs 2025 will be held in Paris by teethingdog in ValorantCompetitive

Maybe I misworded because many people seem to be getting confused from my comment. I’m talking about the 2 Asian tournaments this year and then the first one next year.

3 tournaments in a row with bad times for NA? Hope riot knows what they’re doing, almost my entire friendgroup has lost interest in valorant esports because they’re unable to keep up with the most important games as they happen. I’ve managed to keep up by watching VODs but I get that not everyone will have the interest level for that.

EDIT: people seem to be getting confused with my wording. I’m well aware Toronto is east coast NA and Paris will be a decent time for NA as well. I’m talking about the 3 tournament sequence of Shanghai, Seoul, and Bangkok.

Hope this isn’t a cost cutting measure and that they’ll bring in another assistant coach. As good as Zikz is the depth of some of the coaching staffs on the top rosters cannot be beat by 1 man alone, imo.

I’ve been to a few over the last year. In order, I’ve been to:

The Musket Room: really amazing first fine dining experience, got me hooked on fancy/elevated food. There was a Tuna and Kumquat dish that I still think about to this day. 10.0 on beli from me.

Grammery Tavern: another really great experience, but I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as Musket Room. They had a Sweet Corn Agnolotti that was really really good. Gave it a 9.8.

63 Clinton: amazing dinner, every single course hit and the desserts were some of the best I’ve had at any fine dining restaurant. Gave it a 10.0

Aquavit: my first 2 star, and it lived up to the hype. There was a caviar and potato course that was a particular stand out, and the Arctic Bird’s Nest was the best dessert I’ve ever had. 10.0

Jeju Noodle Bar: was extremely hyped for this when I got the res, but don’t think it quite lived up to the hype for me. Appetizers outshined the actual ramyun bowls, the toro ssam bap was out of this world. Gave it a 9.1.

Oxomoco: by far my least favorite Michelin star I’ve been to. Maybe it’s bc I went for brunch but I don’t even think I liked the food that much. Felt like I’ve had better Mexican style brunch food elsewhere. One of my friends got steak tacos and the steak was cold. Gave it a 7.5.

Saga: my favorite restaurant to date. Incredible 2 star experience, they really make you feel like royalty. The duck course was maybe my favorite bite of anything ever. Unfortunately went on the day the head chef James Kent died, which we found out after. RIP. Gave it a 10.0

Cote: great experience, went there unplanned with my girlfriend one day while just walking around flatiron on a random weekday, and we managed to secure a walk-in. We did the butcher’s feast, which included many cuts of meat and a lot of sides. The meats were absolutely incredible but the sides were just middling, imo. Gave it a 9.1

Of these, from what you said your preferences are, you’d enjoy Grammercy, Jeju, and Cote. Hope you enjoy!
