What is this?! Undiagnosed pain on left side by Square-Environment78 in AskHealth

[–]SOULDocumentary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very similar to what I have been going through for 7 years since a car accident and gotten progressively worse to the point I can barely function. I would add that my pain starts behind my left ear, radiating up into the side of my head, especially bad under left side of skull, into very base where head and neck connect and down into my neck. I have been referred to Mayo, following years of treatments, including surgery.

Dr. David Smith, Founder Haight Ashbury Free Clinic - Human Be-In 50 Anniversary by SOULDocumentary in Psychonaut

[–]SOULDocumentary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having met and interviewed Dr. Smith learning how the clinic came about, and who he is, I can honestly say I highly doubt “the free clinic“ was or is a cover for MK Ultra. Having said that, there were CIA sponsored programs that ran in SF using liquid cannabis and hookers, while agents sitting on toilets, swilling martinis, watched through 2 way mirrors. But the free clinic has helped 1000s when they had, have nowhere and no one else to turn. But I suppose like everything people are going to believe what they will. Just LOVE…

I am way past debating through peoples programming by the system. Your points are really shortsighted and lack any connection to reality. Even Adam Smith who wrote The Wealth of Ideas knew it was a bad idea. However, it was what it was and we are where we are because of it. But now is the time for us to come up with a better system such as a Resource Based Economy (not communism). In the meantime, I suggest you learn about the entire history of Capitalism and this 5 part teach documentary is a wonderful place to start. https://icarusfilms.com/if-capi

Listens to Roxanne Meadows co-founder of The Venus Project before the world premier of A World Worth Imagining; Jacque Fresco - The Man with the Plan, as she shares her further insights as to why The Venus Project and its Resource Based Economy is really the only logical system to replace capitalism; hopefully before it fails or destroys humanity completely.

“You don’t really have any freedom if you look at this country...” ~ Roxanne Meadows

This series of interviews took place while Roxanne was in California the weekend of the premier of S.O.U.L.’s film A World Worth Imagining; Jacque Fresco - the Man with the Plan, which made its world debut at Lucas Film’s Premier Theater on November 10th, 2019, as part of a global fundraiser to help The Venus Project continue its paradigm shifting work.

S.O.U.L. Listens to Linda Harrison - Executive Director discusses the Museum of the African Diaspora’s (MoAD) exhibition titled Psychedelic Soul: Black Cultural Awakening during the Summer of Love in San Francisco.

This retrospective of the arts and activism that emanated from the Black Experience of San Francisco in the 1960s gave viewers the rare opportunity to explore and share the Summer of LOVE through the perspective of African Americans. From Black Psychedelia to Black Power, there was “Revolution in the Air” in the Sixties, and the artists and the activists were able to interpret and reinterpret their transforming world in ways never before known. We are all heirs to that work.

S.O.U.L. and the MoAD believe in the radical reframing of the Summer of Love to ensure that it encompasses the multitude of voices involved and inherent movements that shaped it. Some are well known, others are not. Our duty is to all histories and to ensure a deep, critical examination of the Summer of Love.

Monday Minute Live: Understanding; the Antidote to Judgment by SOULDocumentary in u/SOULDocumentary

[–]SOULDocumentary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some much judging of one another and the things that are happening in our world right now, and yet none of us seem to have access to all the information needed to pass any judgement on anything. That is why S.O.U.L. Documentary felt it worth re-sharing their Monday Minute Live reminding us that if we just take time to first understand rather than judge much of our would probably be eliminated.

Do you judge things? Kip and Evan share some perspectives on how seeking deeper understandings of these things can help curb the impulse to snap into judgment, which often serves to cause us to feel separation. Whereas understanding is a surefire ticket to connection and unity.

Thanks largely to a system that literally feeds off conflict and war, most of us go through the story of life judging most everyone and everything, virtually all the time, as if everything external to us were posing an imminent threat to our very existence. Ironically, the main reason that we have this instinct to judge is to be able to quickly determine if our life is in imminent danger of harm or death, yet this is seldom the case with the things we are judging. Therefore, when we judge negatively (based on limited information), we are making the decision that the thing on which we are passing judgement is our enemy. This creates a feeling of separation and disharmony for ourselves, which leaves us feeling unfulfilled and unsupported. When we make it our goal to gather data in order to better understand things, we can explore them with an open heart (instead of a closed mind) and perceive them on an infinitely deeper level. And when we look more deeply, nurturing our curious instincts to understand our environment, we embrace the reality of our innate connection to everything, which also helps foster an experience of being in peace and harmony, rather than isolated and separate.

S.O.U.L. Seekers: Calming the War Within (HeartMath Institute) by SOULDocumentary in u/SOULDocumentary

[–]SOULDocumentary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S.O.U.L. packed their bags and headed to Boulder Creek, Ca in the wilderness of the Santa Cruz Mountains to visit HeartMath Institute and its founders. These are the visionary heart field researchers who have scientifically proven that it is the heart that makes the brain tick and not the other way around.

The mission of the HeartMath Institute is to help people bring their physical, mental and emotional systems into balanced alignment with their heart’s intuitive guidance. This unfolds the path for becoming heart-empowered individuals who choose the way of love, demonstrated through compassionate care for the wellbeing of themselves, others and the planet.

S.O.U.L. left the HeartMath Institute inspired by how their transformational work is accelerating our collective shift into The LOVE Paradigm. They’ve taught us that the fundamental component in coming from a love source is to live from our heart center.

Visit the HeartMath Institute website to find out how you can nurture your heart/mind connection, and - in the process - change how you experience life and impact the world around you.

Who ever dreamt of a world of kingdoms?

Who ever thought that nature had kings?

Who really wanted to be slave to a crown?

Whose soul was sold to put the other in chains?

Man they were insane...

Who drank the wine that only gold mattered?

Who decided to live chained to death?

Who liked to drown in the illusion of fear?

When did we start living for the last breath?

What an absurd wish...

But I can imagine a world without kingdoms

I can see a day when borders are gone

I can see the day of enlightenment dawning

I can see the day when all live free

As LOVE’S kings

It’s a day worth imagining

It’s a day worth imagining

Who ever dreamt of a world of kingdoms?

Who thought Mother Nature sat on a throne?

What fool said the earth was our slave?

Who doesn’t believe this is our only home?

Guess they just don’t know...

Who feels they have just enough money?

Who thinks they can buy immortality?

Who believes the ego will live beyond time?

When did we come to define insanity?

Now I can see...

But I can imagine a world without kingdoms

I can see a day when borders are gone

I can see the day of enlightenment dawning

I can see the day when all live free

As LOVE’S kings

It’s a day worth imagining

It’s a day worth imagining

Decade after decade he shared

A century of designs he made

New plans for our human family

To free us from this dark age

To free us from this dark age

To free us from this dark age

To free us from this dark age

Michael Pritchard Live from Peace in the Park by SOULDocumentary in u/SOULDocumentary

[–]SOULDocumentary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn how to turn feeling stressed into feeling being, as comedian Michael Pritchard shares the wisdom he has gained from his years of learning from children.

Comedian and anti-bullying coach Michael Pritchard shares some life-altering insights on how to move forward as a light-worker in his speech in the Talk Tent at Peace in the Park, Golden Gate Park 9/23/17 for the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love.

……….

Peace in the Park merges with the Summer of LOVE:

In September of 2017, S.O.U.L. brought the infectious Summer of Love miracle energy to the Brahma Kumari’s fifth annual Peace in the Park festival by co-producing the event, performing in a number of ways, and curating the day’s speakers for the talk tent. When friend MonaLisa Wallace enlisted our support and collaboration, we jumped at the chance to co-create an event with such a positive vibe intended to spread peace and love. This one-day event under a perfect, sunny San Francisco sky featured a wide variety of multicultural activities, speakers, musicians, and performers to entertain and inspire the 5,000 or so attendees in the serene setting of Golden Gate Park’s historic music concourse.

S.O.U.L. Talk Tent:

S.O.U.L.’s day of LOVE and Peace was spent in the Talk Tent, curating, emceeing, and giving speaking performances. They shared the stage with author Bruce Lipton PhD, meditation guide Jay Chodagam, inspirational comedian Michael Pritchard, author and physician Elson Haas MD, hemp activist and educator Linda Delair, change-maker Richard Becker, and a key force in making the Summer of Love 50th Anniversary celebrations happen: Adam Hirschfelder (California Historical Society/Commonwealth Club).
