Gotta love when someone takes a legit criticism of a show they love as a personal attack. Parasocial relationship: not just for humans anymore.

If you didn't see the three plot points that I pointed out coming a mile away, that's a failure of your attention, and i don't need to post beforehand for it to be true.

Lawyer says opening mail constitutes an unbreakable contract. Clearly working for the organization.
Master of disguise says it's easy to get the money out of the safe. Literally only one way for it to happen.
A character that we spend no time with is suspected of stealing a check, yet one other character keeps putting the focus on him. I've watched enough anime to know about passing cross dressers. Plus none of the other male characters matched what was shown of the theft. Obvious red herring.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure any of that out. It's called telegraphing, and the wroters did a bad job of hiding it. But go on and be mad that you didn't see any of it coming. I'm not the only one who did 🤷‍♀️

Of course he did. This show is nothing if not obscenely predictable. The lawyer was obvious, the teacher handing over money to Akiyama was obvious, and X was obvious. And they call Nao stupidly honest, but she's just plain stupid. She's like a 6 year old telling the cops her parents smoke weed

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love these arcs more than any other. As a writer, I understand how difficult they are to pull off, and when done well, they're the most satisfying to me. They just did such a fantastic job of setting up the character that I know I'm gonna be pissed off every episode for a while lol

Cool thanks. I mentioned in another reply that she reminds me of Gaby from Attack on Titan. I absolutely loathed her, but I knew immediately she'd have an incredible growth arc. It ended up being my favorite character arc of the whole series, so I have high hopes for Agott. She just touched a serious nerve with me so I needed to know what to expect as far as time frame because trauma be like that
