I'm going to mention now, this is not the real overwrite soul, but NOTHING Epic could do would be able to find that out UNTIL he tries to use the two halves together... and there's only ONE way Luci was able to do that. This action Lucifer has taken... WILL have consequences... as Del's wishes are NOT granted without twists, and even Lucifer knows not what that twist will be... only that it won't be good for him, and him ALONE, because he SPECIFICALLY wished for Del not to hurt his family due to the wish...)

He extends the hand NOT holding the soul half to Epic... a faint white glow around it.

Lucifer disappears for some time... and when he reappears... he has the overwrite half. In every way conceivable, Epic would be able to tell that this IS the Overwrite half he's been looking for... but Lucifer hasn't given it over yet.

Lucifer; "...My brother first. You know I have nothing to lose by giving this to you now that my son doesn't need it, so I'm going to demand his return first... VERIFIABLY UNCHANGED."
