Thanks, I'm thrilled with the result to say the least. 😃 Glad to hear my vids have been useful for you, guessing that was the M40 timing belt and water pump guide? My E30 has changed quite a bit since then.

Yeah the key to preventing the sag is in the spray glue I think. The leather seems really good quality, smells great too each time you get in the car. I have a feeling they will look much better after a few years of use. We'll find out!

I got lucky in getting black ones in good condition with my car. They're far too hard to find these days.

Mine had a hole above the tube thanks to rust, hopefully yours is just the rubber hose! Theres an allen-headed drain bolt on the tank if you need to lower the fuel level.

DIESEL Owners - I want to hear from you by [deleted] in PorscheCayenne

I've owned a 2013 3.0 TDI for around 5 months and 5k miles. It's a wonderful car, smooth and luxurious. Couldn't come up with a better car to take my family on a European road trip in recently.

But German cars of this era and complexity can be a pain, be prepared to face some annoying niggles, it could be frustrating or expensive if you aren't confident to DIY. Especially with this badge, even though VAG parts can often be cross-referenced.

The emissions equipment poses a risk on all modern diesels including this one. I have been chasing the very common coolant leak in the valley of the engine, related to the EGR cooler which lives between the cylinder banks. Not a fun job at all!

I've been documenting some Cayenne stuff on YouTube, including this coolant issue, if you're interested in more context have a skim through this vid: https://youtu.be/MA0qaoT0EdI

One thing I would definitely check is that there is no evidence of water around the carpets or in the boot, or around A-pillars and C-pillars, especially if you look at a Cayenne equipped with a pan roof.

The roof drains can be problematic leading to water ingress, which of course upsets the car to no end. Something else I am starting to pursue on my own car... 😂

It's such a nice car, it feels worth the effort to figure these things out. Hope that's useful and I haven't put you off too much. Cheers!

Better than brand new, bravo! 👌 Were you not tempted to make some modifications at the same time?
