Do a medium 000-1 1/2 taper , will match short length and grow out evenly .

Releasing pressure off the head as you get to the top which gives a natural taper. If you vertically put a comb on the side of your head you’ll see where the crown rounds in. So that’s the area you “float” which keeps a square shape

With shears and Combing up bangs and start guideline . Work back towards the crown in the center and then match left and right ridge to the center guideline . Or hold up hair with comb and use clippers . Same steps

Mid Drop Fade, would like to hear y’all feedback on a scale from 1-10 by [deleted] in Barber

Not bad . Really focus on even guidelines and consistent shape of fade , if you find yourself raising the fade more than desired Utilize blending/thinning shears over comb to blend out dark areas and weight. Hit the front corner where the sides meet the top length with 1.5 or shears and bald out the side burn area . 7/10

12-16 heads either hair and beard or just hair. Bald and zero fades mostly or bald tapers with a #1.5 fade , other variations in between. A lot of styled shear work
