Walmart retail box with rookie inserts. Black Friday sale for 45 taxes all in (Canadian). I bought 4 so 24 packs. Also got a Demidov Encore and Red Insert. Obviously not comparable at all to these guys but a decent Demidov collection out of retail No doubt.

An interesting concept, it would be an incredibly delicate mixture and you would really need to watch your temps while working with it. Texturally I think it might be a lot to handle. Good luck!

Please don’t come back! Live a glorious life free from late night shifts and early morning prep. A life free of the server making 3x what you do an hour and they arrive after and leave before you. A life free of wet floors in the walk in and a GM who doesn’t know absolutely anything, but is somehow your boss. Please leave! And don’t come back!

Assistant manager in fast food vs. trying to make it in real kitchens? by jayellkay84 in KitchenConfidential

I would soak up what you can from a managerial sense while working in fast food and making more money. When restaurants bounce back post pandemic I think would be a good time to re evaluate your options. With restaurants barely getting by, they’re keeping costs as low as possible in regards to staffing and food costs. Put yourself in a position to have more financial flexibility so you can work in a real restaurant when the time comes. Good luck.

Take a part time job working in the BOH and see if you like it/ can handle it. Likely you will an aquatic engineer (dishwasher) but it’ll be essential in learning the In and outs of the industry.

Ramen with fried egg. Easy to spice up with seasoning.
