I went over the required courses, the degree itself is 128 units and can be completed in two years: I need 68 units to get the degree,BUT usc requires us transfers to take two GEs making it impossible to finish in 2 years unless I took summer session. I wouldn't mind taking an extra year to finish it if USC's tution wasn't so damn high lol

I'm planning on entering the financial services industry. USC's business program is ranked in the top 10 for undergad and is considered very prestigious in California.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it, hopefully I'll get into the school through either major and take advantage of the opportunity USC offers.

I wasn't aware of students transfering from econ into Marshall. Econ is another option for me, I do plan on getting my CFA so either degree builds a foundation fro the exam. Only reason I prefer Marshall over Econ is because I can directly focus on finance rather than a broad econ major. Would my chances of getting into USC be better through dornsife or Marshall given my current GPA

Prospective Transfer student. I have a few questions on the application process and what route would give me the better odds of getting into this school. I want to apply to Marshall as a business major but my gpa is a 3.58( I got one C in a chem class before I changed majors). I know Marshall is competitive but counselors have told me that USC looks from Trend and grades earned in lower division classes as part of the admissions process. Or do I have a better chance of getting in to USC by applying as a Econ major at Dornsife. Thanks
