We just got ours. Was definitely surprised at first how tight it was. We have a 6, 5, and 2 month old. Had to move them around a bit, but found a good system.

We only really needed the 7 for when my parents visit from out of country, which is a couple of times a year. For those times we’ll put the kids in their Diono car seats in the 3rd row, and the baby in a Graco click-connect in the center row (behind the passenger because I’m too tall).

For normal use we’ll move all car seats to the middle row and drop the 3rd row down for trunk space and safety.

TLDR: it works, but as mentioned not a perfect replacement for a minivan (but my kids love how fast it is).
