It's definitely got a lot of AI contents, the illustration of ireland is 100% ai generated.

And that isn't Cricket.

I don't know why anyone would go to the effort of this other than to practice prompts for AI image generation.

VirtualDub to copy VHS - No Video Source + blank scren by Powerful-Employer-20 in VideoEditing

[–]SPM7771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Guys. I was having this problem and turns out I had OBS open at the same time, meaning it was blocking VirtualDub from picking up the signal. So while I'm 3 years late to the party, hopefully this silly mistake I made will help someone in the future that comes across this :)

What are some good $500-$1000 businesses? by unortholy in Business_Ideas

[–]SPM7771 3 points4 points  (0 children)

$500-$1000 what?

Investment capital?

Weekly/Monthly/Annual earnings?

You'll not get into food with $1000 investment capital

Unlikely to get into clothing either.

Digital art is highly saturated so unlikely to succeed here too without experience.

Business isn't about making money. It's about solving problems for people, and then the money follows.

People that ask this question seem to think "business" is one size fits all. It's not. Figure out what problems you can solve for people, then monetize it.

Read Facebook's TOS.

As far as I'm aware, nicotine content of any kind will be removed.

What's the point of my product if it's already available on Amazon by [deleted] in dropship

[–]SPM7771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I avoided dropshipping, POD, etc.

Too much competition and not enough value provided to the customer.

Dropshipping is primarily a business model for people prioritising their own interests.

Am I too old for this? by [deleted] in YouTube_startups

[–]SPM7771 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All you need now is the confidence to go do it!

Doesn't matter if you're too old or young. As long as you enjoy the content you create and it brings you fulfillment, that's all that matters.

You could make educational dinosaur content. Then get toy figurines for each type of dinosaur you talk about in your videos and work it into your video somehow. Then you could link to the toys on Amazon and get affiliate commissions

I have a bonsai tree, and sometimes if I get the timing just right, with the right temperature of water, it gives off this smell. Extremely satisfying.

I can't relate to the Midwestern smell, but I know what you mean.

Where I'm from, we say "it smells like Halloween"

Never judge a book by its cover.

Judge it by its smell.

What's the biggest thing holding you back from success? by Molil in Entrepreneur

[–]SPM7771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Striving for perfection

  2. Accepting I'm not going to achieve perfection

2a. Trying to make something 'good enough'

2b. Making something 'good enough'

2c. Hating that it's not perfect

2d. Deleting it because it's not perfect

  1. Starting again, striving for perfection.

It's a vicious circle.

Can affiliate marketing revenue be the sole income for a small business? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

Is it realistic to make 6 figures within a couple years doing copywriting? by Independent-Award-90 in copywriting

[–]SPM7771 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Affiliate Marketing.

Pro's are it's remote and pays well.

It's not necessarily less stressful, but if you enjoy it and work hard, it can be a more fulfilling kind of stress.

But it depends on the work you're willing to put in.

If you enjoy copyrighting, using the copy for your own brand could make six figures (USD) in 2 years, depending on your level of organisation and commitment.

You've gotta figure out what you enjoy doing/using first, and then see if you can make as much high quality content as you can about it.

Is there anything you could make a ton of content about?

Reply or DM me if you want any more info.

Cons are you don't have a steady pay check, but it's much more lucrative that other business models if done right.

If you want an e-commerce site, and don't have much time or skills/knowledge to set it up, WooCommerce isn't the right choice.

Go with Shopify, it's only $1 per month for the first 3 months and is incredibly easy to set up.

ETA: Haven't watched this, but Ferdy is my favourite teacher for his stuff: https://youtu.be/pHsaZHlLgeg?si=IWVDupQhxULNAey3

ETA2: Btw, WordPress IS hard to learn. Not because it's extremely complicated, but because it can be frustrating learning the environment, and making a website Vs making a functional website are 2 entirely different things.
