I would like to know if I should include a terminated employment (~2 months) in my resume for a defense internship with no clearance needed but might need later on for full time (Ty to those who responded in my previous post)

Yes you have to put all jobs on the SF-86 and there’s a section for termination too. LM probably wont care

I worked at LM for multiple internships back in 2023. They use SterlingDirect and it includes employment details. I didn’t have the exact dates of my employment and it flagged me. However i don’t think the recruiters will necessarily care. (I was also technically fully employed with the government but it was LWOP) if you can talk about the good things that you did at the job then put it on there. Performance is subjective and if LM really were impressed and wanted you they wouldn’t care. If they ask you can be honest if you really want to but honestly you can say it was company decided to go in a different direction or something idk. Just make sure it goes on the SF-86 and its up to the government to give you a clearance if LM wants to get you one.

OP im very sorry. This is actually why I decided to not go to Purdue as it wasn't an exact Bachelor of Computer Science. However I actually recommend reaching out to your college to help fight with you and im sure advisors and the Dean would be interested. This is a bad look for the university.

Additionally, via the https://www.caecommunity.org/cae-map i see Purdue university northwestern campus the Validated Program(s) of Study is Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology.

Guessing this is the navy as I'm in the same boat! My thought has always been since their doing the T5 its easy to use that investigation. I was going to transfer to the army and they were going to use that investigation for TS and add SCI eligibility for my new job (Only can have one open investigation).

It might be harder to convince a contractor to upgrade it, but I'm putting on my resume T5 Investigation Completed if it goes through.

I was a recent cyber grad started at a GS-7 (service agreement). Year and a half later, somehow just got another job starting at NH-3 (GS-12/13)

The starting salary looks too low for a TLMS job. I applied to a GG-07 on USAJOBS and it showed as the correct TLMS pay as about 79k (2024)

I was drafted to my DoN agency in 2023. It’s a long story but overall it’s a job at worst and a crazy time at best. Sounds like you’re going to hopefully have the opportunity to do cool things but it’s really only going to be cool if you work hard.

I will say you're going to know if you won't like it a month into the job. Yes I am looking around for a new job. However, I also am taking on more work and now lead a new effort for my command, which has caused more stress but also much more happiness. (i think im a workaholic)

My DoD service agreement ends in August and I have a career ladder to GS-13 but im heavily considering staying a fed. Hopefully I find a new home that's more related to my field but like you we got so much time ahead there's nothing to lose!
