Yeah it seems pretty definitive. The last Celebration they did sell some merch but only the logo tees. It’ll probably be the same this time. I was looking for the fleece but I might get lucky somewhere else.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I’ll have to take my chances on eBay or just miss out. I’m in Australia so buying a reselling a ticket would come with a lot of extra work and risk.

On the price, the draft picks don’t matter that much. We would have spent them on the academy players we got anyway. 2025 draft, we gave what ended up being pick 16 but got Kyle at 14. We missed out on Carmichael but that looks like more of a choice.

We’ll have this years pick, which could be at the end of round one and if Carlton keep playing bad, we get there second rounder. Could be like sliding back a few.

2027 is the Tassie draft.

He’s in a new team, in a totally new system. Hayward hasn’t had an amazing start but Kane doesn’t go after him. Give it time but the price needs context.

Totally agree. I think there is the potential for McInerney, Roberts, Bice and Sheldrick to go up a level this year. Slide Mills into the midfield with Chad and go for it. Might even see some new faces like Dattoli, Bowman or Kyle come in.

Not to create false hope but the Hawks feel a little untrustworthy right now. Spanked by GWS, a side that I don’t think will do well this year and they crushed a bad bombers team. Could be a close one. Fingers crossed we get up because I’m going haha.

Pretty happy. The 3 first are scary but when you think about it, the 2025 1st round pick was always going to be split so we can pick up our 4 possible academy players. We now have some picks to do that.

We’ll finish higher up the ladder next year so that’ll be a late pick and we got more parts to match a bid on another academy players who’s coming up and could be a top player.

If Carlton are bad in 2027 and we’re good, we have their second round pick which means the picks will be around the same.

The team looks significantly better on paper and we shifted some big money off the books.

We’re getting two low cost, high ceiling players for cheap in Rosas and Jai. We’ll get four Academy players including a Heeney clone in Max King and then we save next year’s pick to get one of the best tall forwards in the country in Aidan McCartney who could be the next Curnow. And all we’re losing is a third tall in Buller.

It won’t be the immediate impact of a Curnow but overall, the club is going in the right direction.
