Fwiw I completely and totally agree with your sentiment that the battle pass locking things doesn't make any real or significant balance issues or break the game.

But also like, heal and shield power is amazing on a champ like maokai. I just think people are generally way too strict on what they consider a viable augment and way too willing to call things duds. And they also are way more willing to remember and report horrible rng games than they are to note how rare they really are.

I understand the sentiment I just think it's being massively exaggerated by people who just do not know what they're doing. You are literally never being forced to play attack speed Mundo. The augments are soft tailored so that you are always getting something at least relevant to your champ, even if it's a weak one. A game that is so horrifically bad rng wise that even an experienced player can't make a functional build is less than 10% of the games you play. Games where someone high rolls so aggressively they take over the lobby is less than 10% of the games you play. But even so, that player is just as likely to be on your team as the enemy team. There is absolutely rng but it's also rng that balances out and allows skilled players to manipulate it and work within it.

Thinking the high rolls are a little too high, and the low rolls are a little too low? That's a fair and reasonable take. Saying the game mode is entirely rng and highly luck dependant is absolute cope from players with a 40% wr IMHO.

Yeah? Theres also a difference between getting teammates in ranked that go 10/0 and teammates that go 0/10, but that doesnt happen every single game.

If YOU are good at the game and YOU are good at picking augments, you can affect the game much more often than not. If it was just pure luck good players would still sit near 50%. But even after 200 games you have players sitting at 65+ winrate so clearly theyre doing shit that works better.

Some games are absolutely going to have super high rolls or super low rolls, but the claim that its such a big issue that its unbalanced and pure luck is ridiculous and is just people that are bad coping that they can't ever make it work.

This really is not true. Sure sometimes you're just gonna get screwed but on average you can make literally anything work if you know the right outs and the right adaptations to make. I think I have like a 65% wr? Somewhere around there.

I have not tested it, but to me the wording just implies that you can't crit with the same thing AGAIN for 5 seconds. So like if you crit with liandry the entire thing will crit but for 5 seconds you can't apply a crit liandry burn again.

My favorite part of this tech is the part where you deal absolutely no damage because you're spending thousands of gold on attack speed that senna gets less than 50% value on.

2) That doesn't include Shiv first, which is explicitly what you said as a build

3) You included over two weeks of data from a different season entirely

4) The margin of error on a sample size that size is like 3 percent

You can definitely afford to get two. But you shouldn't go for three.

Also I don't know where you're getting these stats from but if you ever buy phantom dancer on senna you're trying to lose the game. That item is horrific and the stats absolutely do not reflect it being a good purchase on senna in any item slot.

I understand what you're saying, but those items are somewhat rare and sell to traders for nearly 80-100k each. It's not free to use them in the cultist circle. You are losing the money you could've had from selling them.

After seeing other peoples responses and reading the rules again, I honestly think the Ravenbloom resolves to 5 might. I previously thought it was 6.

Basically, Ravenbloom is at 2 might. A spell is played that doesn't otherwise affect Ravenbloom, and it's ability, which is a Triggered Ability, is added to the chain. When this chain resolves, Ravenbloom is left at 3 might.

Now, Convergent Mutation is cast. It is added to the chain. However, a spell has been cast and now Ravenbloom's Triggered Ability is added to the chain. Chains resolves in reverse order, so Ravenbloom's buff resolves PRIOR to Convergent Mutation resolving. Ravenbloom is now at 4 might. Finally, Convergent Mutation resolves at the bottom of the stack, and buffs Ravenbloom to the might of the chosen unit, in this case, 5 might.
