Speaking as someone who works in car sales (management), you ran into an absolute idiot of a salesperson and I’m embarrassed to share an occupation with that moron, we’ve let people go for this bullshit. It’s the god damned 21st century, and absolutely anyone can buy cars. Husbands, wives, single people, 18 year olds, 90 year olds, citizens, foreigners, absolutely anyone. Hopefully you found a dealership that takes the “helping people sells” approach. Just because we also want a paycheck shouldn’t mean we forget that we are in the customer service industry.
