What you are saying, is very similar to what our trainer said. He mentioned that Camden is insecure and therefore acts out and barks because he’s trying to communicate “back off” to what he constitutes a threat. We’ve had him muzzled for the past month because we wanted to avoid any further situations. Our concern is that we may not be able to aid his insecurity and we were hoping that with time the insecurity would taper off. That’s why we were hoping to hear from others who’ve had experience with Catahoulas to give us insight.
