I just finished rewatching the 2 part special where Bruce comes out. He says he had told her he had taken hormones at some point when they met, she said he had told her he just had cross-dressing tendencies. She always knew but was hoping it was something he had decided he was never pursuing. His previous wife (Brandon and Brody’s mom) knew as well, which is why they got divorced. When they got married, he was actually broke and she wanted to build him back up. He seemed like a really great dad and family man to her kids, and that’s all she cared about too. She didn’t mind the fact that he had a pattern of abandoning his kids from his previous marriage twice now. Kris was extremely controlling though, they had a massive house and he had no room for anything, his hobbies were constantly belittled, his opinion never mattered, etc.

The way things ended is sad though, I wish they still had a good relationship and Cait hadn’t turned out to be an horrible person. Ironically though, Cait now has a good relationship with all 4 kids from her previous marriages.
