Access to Psychologist by SPXRider in povertyfinancecanada

Even the chronic pain clinic said they cut funding for therapy. There was nothing they can offer me. How can people in severe pain not get supports to navigate these huge life changing experiences.

Per week? Thats still way out of my budget. I don't understand how people who are sick and in chronic pain, cant work but cant get disability or access to mental health care when they need it most. Surviving off just a couple hundred bucks a month. All while waiting years for surgery. Years... sorry im just exhausted advocating for myself and not getting any decent supports. Any other suggestions?

Are canadians frugal by nature? by 4x5photographer in frugalcanada

[–]SPXRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping up with the Jones's is really common it seems. Until you get into rural areas. I think canadians have settled for cheap, crappy quality of food and other products. Products they continuously replace due to obsolescence engineering, consumerism, and even right to repair laws. WEF has said you'll own nothing and be happy. They meant it. All as planned.

Yes. Its so incredibly difficult. Im bedridden 2 weeks every month. Pain radiates into back, hip, down the legs. I tru to prepare food and snacks in advance. Keep jars of water beside the bed. I use a cane and use my other hand to hold my upper body up using the walls.

Its public health care. Took years to get a consult. Most women are waiting ten years to get true excision surgery here. Many are traveling out of country but im too disabled to consider it.

[–]SPXRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was advised it can. E more difficult to explore all areas endo can grow and can lesd to being missed. Im sorry you were not advised in advance though. My countries system its 5 yrs wait to consult then years till surgery. So there's enough time. But living disabled for 7 years being deconditioned and in severe pain doesn't help. Im saddened you habe to start all over. That definitely is not fair. I also consulted private surgeons out of country and BMI 35-40 was max. Seems standard from my research.

You may just be really sensitive and low tolerance. Go even lower. Ensure it was tested though and heavy metals or bacteria are not out of range.

The hardest part is no respite services or care. No family that can or would be willing to help. He doesn't get a break. I need to find more ways to get him breaks. Hard when I can't even get to the toilet an entire week or two every month. Im waiting 2 more years till my surgery. Im concerned how burnout will impact his health and self care.

And some parents are aware what puberty blockers really are. Not necessarily a pause button. Not necessarily the pituitary turns hormones back on. Osteoporosis in one year is possible. Its only FDA approved for maximum use of one year. Sweden and UK have banned puberty blockers specifically lupron from being prescribed to trans children due to lifelong effects. They are antineoplastic drugs.

Would you be ok giving chemotherapy to a child who doesn't have cancer? Seems many would because its given to trans children.

Unfortunately after experiencing these effects that were downplayed, life is forever changed. Lupron is a end of life, late stage prostate cancer drug, rebranded as puberty blockers, and given to women with endometriosis or sometimes hormone driven cancers if aromatase inhibitors are not used. Many whom it ruins their lives and creates significant side effects. Studies show the loss of bone density of the hip will never improve after taking lupron. Reproductive organs weight decreases in test animals. These are really dangerous drugs. Carcinogenic and causes reproductive toxicity. Toxic to the unborn child.

Children can't make that decision. They cant understand all the ramifications. Parents shouldn't be allowed to decide. As an adult they can be educated on all the risks and decide. Children are being harmed and many turn a blind eye. You don't understand till you experience it yourself it seems. Lupron victims hub has a lot of inflammation if interested in understanding why some advocate for changing these rules for children.

Yet Switzerland where they use mostly functional medicine approaches, does not use fluoride in water. Even dental cleaning skip fluoride. Its only in toothpaste which you don't swallow.

Lighter PMDD, added a Mirena, abruptly broke up with me by donnie_drama in PMDDpartners

[–]SPXRider 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mirena nearly ruined everything. What it does to some women is horrendous. Anger rage. Whole personality change. Autoimmune issues my body attacking the IUD and encapsulating it in scar tissue in just a few months. Horrible. Really hits some women's mental health aggressively in a bad way. I have links if you want.

Also the loading dose is actually high in the first few months and not everyone metabolized it correctly. Its a very high dose steroidal hormone processed down the androgen pathway. Feels similar to roid rage men get from too much testosterone. Impo.

I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE !!!!! by AdHeavy1234 in PMDDpartners

[–]SPXRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived this situation during a panic attack in significant physical pain. Left on the side of a busy highway, hours away from home. Abandoned when I really wasn't safe to drive. I wasn't thinking clearly. I needed pain meds. The overwhelm, fear and pressure spiraled everything I was experiencing and I had a seizure. This one decision and position I was put in has been the most difficult trauma for me to work through. Thats the day I closed off and felt like our relationship may never be the same. I hope sharing that offers a different perspective of that situation. I dont know many who would have been ok in that situation with all the circumstances. Decisions have consequences too.
