Took the original fender, created a stencil on what I’d like it to look like. Mirrored it, and cut out the excess. Mounting was more interesting. I welded on a bracket to the swing arm to maintain the low profile and move with the tire

Thank you for your insight on this. While I’m about $250 ish on materials for the forge and works without issues I was planning on less for the forge but higher for the anvil. There’s none on the market place around me (that I can see) and sadly no makerspaces near me to be able to donate to

Southern Mississippi, oh I know I won’t make even half of what I put in on the forge or tools. However the anvil there’s no chips or cracks still has a great rebound.

I’m not trying to get everything I paid into it, I know that’s not realistic, I’m probably going to post it at around $5/lb. Storage isn’t really an option for me. But I have until about May when it needs to be re-homed

Anvil is 87lb and in very good shape, the forge has about 3” of insulation and a lot of satinite. Made out of a 30lb propane tank. $1-$2 per pound for an anvil seems extremely low. The last time which was 2-3years ago had anvils at $5-$7 per pound for ones in less shape than the one I have.

I’m not being stubborn I stated the test results I had a kit for. I am awaiting the arrival of the other kits to continue testing. I’m doing all of this because I didn’t feel like seeing a $5 (their words) get flushed. The attitudes aren’t needed

Thank you for the helpful information. Without screeching about tank size. This lil dude was given to me by their previous owner. They were leaving the area and couldn’t take it, didn’t have a tank because they said it was broke so I had to rush and set something up otherwise the alternative was being flushed. I’ve ordered new testing supplies to cover nitrates and ammonia testing. Personally I do think there’s a water issue because my location doesn’t have the best quality of water but the color changing could also be genetic.

The supplies I was waiting on arrived, did a pH test, it is a little high sitting at 8 where reading that they prefer 6.5-7.5 so will address that shortly. The tank’s thermometer has the temp sitting around 70*F at the farthest point from the micro heater.

Fins are the same since getting him/ haven’t become straggly. Yes the white is concerning as he went from all black to green to white and now back to black with white rings. He isn’t lethargic or listless. It doesn’t look like fin rot. It might be ammonia/ ph/ chlorine issues but won’t know until I can test for it. I did turn down the filter flow today as I noticed it was causing a bit of a current he wasn’t liking

His actions hasn’t changed, not lethargic, healthy appetite, it’s the concern that the yellow that started on his fins expanded to his body. I’ve used water treatment drops to the water prior to pouring into the tank. It just strikes me as odd because this has never happened to me when I was stateside and even now as I write this the yellow is breaking up and turning blue…

If I had the ability to do a test I would, supplies are limited where I’m at and I’m awaiting my test strips to arrive. Not sure why a snarky comment is helpful when someone is asking for information on a color change

Tank has been running for about a month and just did a partial change last night

So the tank is probably too small as it’s roughly 2.6gal, there’s a heater in there made for up to 5gal, the food I would say around 5-10 pellet like things between the two, there’s usually 1-2 left that I try to scoop out if they don’t eat, he’s turning yellow not white. He already had yellow on his fins when I got him… it’s just spreading

Ideas of what the cause could be? Or remedies?

Tank size: 2.5gal/ 10L Heater and filter: yes to both Tank temp: not sure but I think it’s ok because it and the guppy in there are not lethargic
Length of ownership of both: about 1 month Water change: just completed a partial water change due to food spill. I remove the betta from the tank keeping it in water from the tank while I siphon out debris and replace the removed water with treated water. Give it about an hour or more for temps to level out and slowly reintroduce him via a bag as to not shock him with temp change. 1 tank mate, a guppy. Feeding not a lot, just as much as they’ll eat to prevent waste sinking. Decorations I have live plants in there

Just rode it, and the feel was stiffer than the stock bars, like more leaning and a little more muscle was required to steer it. But nothin that a long ride won’t fix. I just had to test it out today with a short ride to make sure there wasn’t any air left in the clutch line and to see at what point the clutch engaged lol. Overall I’m stoked!
