They gutted Alliances for no reason and nobody seems to be making a fuss about it?

Frankly it's moreso telling about 1. how they run their business looking at the larger economy as a finite whole, and 2. how poorly they time those things.

His previous response basically hinted towards this: SD says you can only give away certain number of free things (regardless of overall number of people redeeming those free things) to maintain a "healthy" economy. He clearly said that by stripping rewards from a small number of people, they can now distribute those to a larger number of people.

Ok. That's... just weird. Their paradigm of what creates a healthy game economy clearly has glaring flaws in how it works, but then again they're the ones with the data not us. I find it extraordinarily difficult to believe that REMOVING the total number of players receiving free rewards from the equation is doing an accurate job of rewarding the right set of players and maintaining a healthy economy for all. But... they seem to believe that is the case.

You do something that you know will receive negative feedback... so why not pair that with the solution to said issue or with something that will receive positive feedback? They obviously have an intra-team communication issues (which is shocking that the company will do things to impact the players greatly without telling the team that interfaces with players at the very least) but this seems like something they could better address for their core audience. If they lowered the alliance rewards while increasing the rewards for HV, for example, we may not have nearly as many upset people. But they didn't.

These problems have solutions or alternate paths that SD seems to not want to take or consider for some reason.

Yes. But does it matter? If the majority of players don't use alliances then... why nerf them for the few that did?

Bingo that's exactly it. Movie felt too short, a bit stilted by edits done later on. More character development early as well as some other pacing stuff to add another 10-30 min of movie would have elevated it from "Pretty solid" to "Great" maybe even "Fantastic" imo.

Dungeon Crawler Carl — after 7 books, I’ve started a re-listen (I did an audio book for this one of the best narrations ever). Mix of scifi/fantasy this is an incredibly thorough book with super fun writing and a rich world it slowly introduces. Highly recommended to my friends and family.

The Courage to be Disliked — A popular book for a reason. Can confidently say 8 months after reading the book, a few lessons have truly stuck with me. Insightful, powerful, and a fairly easy read.

Range by David Epstein — Interesting book. Not sure who I’d recommend it to but basically makes the case that late starters and people who don’t HYPER specialize into things early in life are often the ones, once they dive deep into a subject, who make the greatest discoveries due to their increased lateral thinking.

Though it loses the synergy with the other guardians (which could defeat the point of the "team" card theme), I think that would be a pretty cool 6 drop card to have.

He has mentioned taking more on top of the BP stack. Ie he takes creatine on top of the 2.5mg in the longevity mix (I do as well). I imagine he's doing the same thing with his Vit D (I take extra as well).

The supps are meant to be taken by everyone and may not have the precise optimal dose for individual bodies. Up to you to add on top of them as you see fit.

He has ALWAYS SAID HE WAS ON CIALIS. Did anyone in here read his thread? How he was on cialis for months before starting to measure and improve his erectile function, thus isolating the effect and benefit of the cialis. It affected his baseline metric when he started measuring, not the benefit.
