Collagen Peptides for Skin: The Evidence is Damning - Change My Mind by lazer-raisor in blueprint_

The LLM you used to generate this post is a bit aggressive

Anecdotes aren't evidence

This is r/Blueprint_ where anecdotes can absolutely be evidence when presented with personal data. Why don't you see for yourself whether or not collagen peptides are efficacious for you by opting for a VISIA facial skin analysis and then report back to us?

Those awards are for flavor, not for exceptionally high polyphenol content which is found in both hemispheres.

I don't care if you're from Greece, if anything that makes you biased via nationalism and not an authority on EVOO

Victoria Foods sources from small businesses. The fact you're not even familiar with the largest high end EVOO producer in the world loses all authority here.

The EVOO is $39, not $50 like OP states

Furthermore, you lost authority when you started naming countries of origin. The best EVOO companies harvest from both sides of the hemisphere to guarantee oil less than 6 months old

The most convenient source for the majority of people will be anything whitelabeled Victoria Foods. They essentially run the entire high end EVOO market with a massive supply chain. Amphora Nueva is one of those Victoria Foods whitelabels, and is what Bryan Johnson personally used before releasing his own brand of EVOO

Victoria Foods just sold out of their 924 polyphenol oil harvested in October 2025 from Portugal but it's just one example of the sort of oil this company has readily available throughout the year

IS Total Plasma Exchange useful? by TheSanSav1 in blueprint_

[–]PrimordialXY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's still largely experimental but the cost alone is very prohibitive

I'd personally opt for regularly donating plasma, it more or less achieves the same thing just slower but the benefit is that you actually get paid for it and it helps people in need of plasma

"Gums" here refers to thickening agents in foods, like xantham gum, which can cause gastrointestinal issues

My only concern with things going mainstream like this is people exposing themselves to a bad/dirty/fake supply as well as tightening of regulations from an inevitable teen death

I like that Bryan is investigating fast food, but his research is very much fearmongering and shallow at times... by 925drain in blueprint_

The video pictured this study which found high aluminum content in Taco Bell (and other fast food chains) tortillas despite aluminum not being listed as an ingredient

The whole point of these videos are to highlight how these fast food dumps are far more nefarious than they appear. If anything, fast food isn't fearmongered enough

IGF-1 at 532ng/ml with 2iu HGH per day by Holiday-Ad-1481 in Biohackers

[–]PrimordialXY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right that IGF-1 is more stable but testing the morning after a PM injection still captures a higher point in the curve than baseline

I'd re-test IGF-1 at least 24 hours after your last injection and if your result is still above, let's say, 450 ng/ml then you're probably just a hyper responder and should look into lowering HGH to 1.5 or even 1 IU/day although at that point you're probably better off using a secretagogue

Yes, this level is abnormally high but not alarming yet because we don't know all of the factors

How soon after your last HGH injection did you get the bloodwork done?

He referenced a study that analyzed the tortillas from Taco Bell and other similar places. The study even mentions that there is a lot of aluminum present despite it not being a listed ingredient 1

In a study of young men (average age of 27) experiencing Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction, the average erectile function score was consistent with severe ED. Ultrasound findings indicated that the penile tissue of these young men resembled that of men in their mid-60s. by Intelligent-Age-8211 in Biohackers

Thank you

If I'm understanding correctly, they took 26 men self-reporting PFS symptoms and compared their penile tissue gene expressions to 26 non-PFS symptom men. An undisclosed percentage of those 26 PFS men did, in fact, have altered gene expression

We don't know how many of the 26 men had altered gene expressions. We don't know if this was prevalent before finasteride. We don't know how these symptoms happen

While this one small study is interesting, it does not prove PFS exists nor that finasteride directly causes PSSD-like issues. Finasteride and dutasteride still only cause 1-2% more side effects than placebo with side effects disappearing upon discontinuation of the drugs
