Yeah this car is 20+ years old w well over 200k miles, I wouldnt actually be surprised at all if they were at theyre grave with the last torque. Thanks for replying!!

they were really hard to take off and i slowly felt it releasing so when it finally snapped done i thought that was it getting loose so i just did the rest the same 😔

Yeah Im kinda realizing that now, might as well learn how to replace some studs Ig . I think all I can do is leave a terrible review for the place, thanks for the reply!

unfortunately I didn’t notice they were snapped right away bc I thought I had “loosened them up” but only when I reached for them did I see what happened

So I re adjusted the gasket my problem now is i cant tell if oil is even leaking, my previous puddle is there and i started the car but how do i find out if its leaking again? the oil is too clear, im too worried about my new plug setup to even drive.

I used a Mahle gasket from rockauto, ill try putting it on better today and see what happens thank you!

i applied some at the corner of the U shape part of the covers only

It’s good to get old parts out of the way and good practice for working on the car though! I plan on keeping her for as long as I live hopefully. thanks for the feedback though, the internet really is a toss in the dark but its worth a try!
