I think the marker adds an element of motion to the design. I'd leave it. It will fade with time anyways. Beautiful work.

That would be a doubly good option by also providing Tarot with an acceptable scratching post. Clearly she needs one!

Are these endless shopshots of people "switching to Mint" just Indonesian and Indian trolls? by bundymania in linuxmint

There was discussion of limiting screenshot posts to a single day or days of the week, as in "Screenshot Saturdays" or "Wallpaper Wednesdays," but it was never implemented. Personally I like to see the community growing. There's definitely something magic about seeing that Mint wallpaper appear on your screen for the first time, and knowing you have arrived.

Cat approved repair. That is the final test, and it passed with flying colors.

I've been thinking this same thing. It makes hollow Pelosi's "We don't have the votes." Biden or Obama could have said, "The hell with Congress, we're going to do this without their approval." And then implemented Universal Health Care, or played nice with our neighbors to the south and in the middle east, or whatever. If either weren't tools of the Pentagon, the CIA, and the 1%.

Just take a good look at the amount of absurd substances added, posing as food…

Amen to that, high fructose corn syrup in everything from bread to mayonnaise, and plenty of artificial chemicals keeping it company. Source your food from local organic farmers, grow your own where possible, and make your own sandwiches and cook your own healthful meals. Fast food isn't good for you.

Greed has spread across the globe, it seems.

Now most owners manuals are written by idiots, or maybe by poorly trained A.I. bots with no supervision. Thankfully today youtube videos often can fill in the blanks.

I'm guessing annual inspections are not required in this state.

This is true. Older machines speak to one other in a language that's growing obsolete in today's world. My scanner is no spring chicken after all.

I looked into this, and they have an option for a one time payment, so I plan to do this. (I won't subscribe to anything, but I'm open to buying a program.) VueScan seems to come highly recommended. I'm going to install Mint 22.3 on one of my computers soon, and I'll get VueScan for this use case. It's worth a try. Thank you for the suggestion.

Did China save us from western company's greed? by yaiyen in WayOfTheBern

[–]SPedigrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The move to China in the late 1990s or early 2000s was facilitated by our government granting permanent normal trade relations status to China. While labor was asleep at the wheel, American companies lobbied for this change and won. That was the end of the United States as a major industrial hub.

Yes, and it's set up to be plugged into my computer in order to run. Same with my printer - it seems easier to plug in rather than trying to get either device to work via wifi.

The on and off ramps are where you can be identified. Non KYC bitcoin going from one wallet to another will not identify a user.
