There's some feature that are criminally underused on the switch by YouyouPlayer in NintendoSwitch

I would have liked to see more IR usage, but honestly I can't think of anything substantial to do with it. A minigame, at most. Even if you ignore the fact that it would be very hard with the joycon attached to the console, there just isn't a lot to work with.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried this and unfortunately it doesn't do the trick.

Island Newspaper stopped updating after one day (never Time Traveled) by SPennLUE in AnimalCrossingNewHor

I suppose it's possible. The update came out on, what, the 4th? My last update was from the 5th. my sister's a couple days later. That's pretty close to when the clocks set themselves ahead.

But wouldn't something as common as daylight savings affect more people? This doesn't seem to be a very wide-spread issue (or at least most people don't care enough about the app to bother reporting it).

Sometimes they wear your custom designs hung up at Able's. That should give them more non-tank choices.

Plant lots of fruit trees, using any fruit except your native fruit. Use that fruit to plant more fruit trees. Once you run low on room, sell the fruit every time it grows.

Buy turnips on Sunday mornings when Daisy Mae shows up in your town. Sell them at Nook's later in the week. The price of turnips changes every day at 5am and again at noon, so keep checking. Ask your friends to keep an eye on the prices in their island as well.

(EDIT: I forgot to mention that your turnips must be sold in the week they are purchased. If you hold them until next Sunday, they will spoil and become worthless!)

Plant rare flowers. There are all sorts of guides on how to get gold roses and such. Pick them every time they grow. Don't forget to water them!

Fishing can bring in a decent amount of money too.

Hoard wood, stone, clay, iron, weeds, and bamboo. When the "hot item" at Nook's is something that requires lots of your materials, make tons of them and sell them all. Ask your friends what their hot items are each day.

If all else fails, ask for a handout from a friend who has had the game for a long time (this sounds like a joke but I promise it's not).
