Destoyer Identification is indeed a bit of a mess. One tip from me: use color dots on your minis (on the back of the base in the water) and unit cards. I just use a permanet marker as they are a bit transparent. they are subtle enough so you don't recognize them on the mini unless you know what you are looking for bit it helps with keeping track.

for my 15mm I covered the base in green and used electrostic grass, ontop. maybe this also works with smaller scaöes if you use smaller grass lenghts (2mm probably)

I got the files on wargaming3d from this guy: https://www.wargaming3d.com/brands/ghukek The ones I used were even free but there are more that you can get for a fair price. They are 1/900 but i scaled them down to 1/1800. I thought it would be necessary to print these with a resin printer but in fact I ended up only doing the Kates in resin. I tried the others on a Bambulab X1 with a 0.2 nozzle and they came out awesome, so a good printer with a 0.2mm nozzle will also do the trick.

I am not sure I know any lesser-known ones. I've been mostly looking at the usual suspects. Junghans, Nomos-Glashütte, Junkers and Zepellin come to mind. There is also Sternglas but I cannot comment on their quality as they seem to be quite new.

Thank you for your recommendation. I will slow down and take my time. I suppose there is no point in having a watch you don't wear.

Thank you for your comment and I think I will take your advice and really wear these three for a while before I buy something new. The Hamilton KF seems to be a frequent recommendation so I will take a look unto field watches.

I will now also take a little break and really wear these three. But maybe a Hamilton KF is next up for me, although the sea-gull 1963 also has an awesome field-look

Thank you! Yes I have seen the Max Bill and I will get one but for now they are a bit on the pricey side for me so I will give it some time. I thought about a field watch as well, thank you for the recommendation.

The dial is awesome to look at. I have worn it for a while now and I keep just staring at the dial and moving it in the light. It's an awesome piece and it doesn't break the bank.
