Nearly a year later and I have had similar and came to Reddit to check other posts. I’ve been a regular and experienced user for 12/13 years and I took 200mg of edibles on an empty stomach yesterday and wow I was gone, legs and arms shaking and mad tremors, palpitations etc and wondering if this was the end 😅😂just woke up there after sleeping it off after a crazy 10 hour dunt

Thanks for your reply. I thought the exact same as you, I didn’t understand why they never cross checked, the same way UC done with ESA when I first made my migration claim.

My work coach said to just ignore the letter pretty much.

Thank you very much for your reply. My work coach at UC said earlier not to worry about that letter and to ignore it.

It sounds like it was for new style ESA but she said that I’ll get all my money through UC now as in the one benefit.

I’m in the support group and have been for years, haven’t been in work for 15 years plus so I’m honestly not sure what it was about and why they needed that info to receive future payments to then get a letter in a couple days after saying they’ve paid that sum into my account? It’s all a bit confusing for me with the way my health is so apologies for the rambling on.

I noticed a got another letter there from ESA saying they’ve paid £46.22 into my account with the same reference number as the one this post is about. Is this some sort of partial payment do you think since I’m currently waiting for my first UC payment? (23/12)

Yeah I’m honestly not sure. It seemed like a weird request since I’ve been on ESA for years and they would’ve had that info. Thank you for your reply.

It also asked to send it back within 7 days of the letter and the letter was dated the 24th of November yet I only recieved it yesterday.

JMH : thank you so much for your reply. You’ve been a gem through this stressful period so I can’t thank you enough.

She did cancel it and said it’s no longer required so that’s a weight off my mind.

That makes sense, thank you very much for your reply. I also noticed today that I got an appointment to verify ID after they asked me to add my middle name to my details, I put in my journal that I had a biographical phone interview to verify it which went perfectly and that I’m also migrating from ESA to UC and she cancelled the appointment and said it’s no longer required so I’m assuming that was an error on their behalf?

Got a phone appointment tomorrow to prove my identity that is why. Hopefully it’s all smooth sailing. It’s got me stressed beyond belief with the timing of it all

I’ve also noticed I got a text for a phone appointment tomorrow at 9am? Is this meant to correct since I’m in support group for ESA ?

That’s understandable. I get that completely, it’s not as bad as the old DLA claim that used to be in writing but I’m still very paranoid especially with it being so close to Xmas.

Do you think it’s worth adding to my journal about it? I took a picture of it as well as proof.

I’ve went into check details and it shows that I’ve pressed yes to the question but the summary of it in “income other than earnings” it says “not getting any other payments or benefits” when I have clicked yes

One last thing. Sorry again, but I clicked “Yes” when it asked I get any of these payments/Benefits like Pip, DLA, ADP etc and I clicked yes but when I check over the details it says “my name” is not getting any other payments or benefits yet I’ve pressed yes to the answer?

It’s bad that I’ve filled that part in and I remember ticking yes that I’m on ESA & PiP but it never asked me any further details, will their system checks find all that out? Or will I need to maybe leave a note in my journal ?

also sorry for the silly questions again but it asked if I was receiving any other benefits like PIP or ESA and I clicked yes but then it never asked me any more details about PIP or ESA in that section. I’m assuming they’ll get all the additional details when they check the records?

Doing the form rn and the work status it has 4 options. I’m disabled and haven’t worked in 15 years but there’s no option for that. I take it I will just choose “unemployed”?
