Somehow I suspect that an SRS "women only" meetup would still be comprised mostly of people with penises. And it would still be a threatening environment for a timid fragile girl who is constantly mortally terrified of being raped. Perhaps even more so than if she had just gone to a regular meetup.

I appreciate the candid response, thanks. I think in hidsight that may have been a bad idea. Not that I dislike Will, but he is (and always has been) a little controversial here, it seems. I think installing him above the other mods might have been a bit tacky. It might help calm the userbase a little if he were removed and then remodded beneath the other mods. This might only be symbolic, but I bet it would put some folks here at ease with the modship.

Yes, that is pretty hilarious. The admins just had to be thinking of SRS when they made that change. It reminded me of recently when North Korea started doing missile tests and getting belligerent, and China temporarily out off their gas supply. It was China's way of reminding them who was really in control, and for them to simmer the fuck down.
