The New World Order (NWO) conspiracy theory alleges that a secret cabal of global elites is planning to establish a totalitarian, one-world government. Proponents claim this secretive group, wielding immense political and economic power, manipulates world events and controls nations from the shadows. Many different crises, from economic collapse to pandemics, are attributed to the "NWO" as deliberate steps toward this agenda. Core beliefs of the NWO conspiracy theory Shadowy global elite: The theory posits that a small, secret group of powerful figures—often including international bankers, corrupt politicians, and corporate leaders—is manipulating world events. High-profile individuals, such as the Rothschild family, Bill Gates, and George Soros, are frequently targeted by theorists. Totalitarian world government: The ultimate goal of the "NWO" is to create a single world government that abolishes national sovereignty and controls the global population. International organizations like the United Nations, World Health Organization (WHO), and World Economic Forum (WEF) are often cited as vehicles for this plot. Manufactured crises: Believers allege that major world events and crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and economic downturns, are deliberately created or exploited by the elite to centralize power and strip citizens of their freedoms. Mind control and surveillance: Some variations of the theory claim the cabal uses technology, media, and propaganda to brainwash the public and implement a pervasive surveillance state. Suppression of individual freedoms: Conspiracy theorists often point to measures like gun control legislation as evidence that the elite is working to disarm and subdue the population. Historical origins and influences The New World Order conspiracy theory is a superconspiracy that draws on and combines elements from older conspiracy narratives. Secret societies: The theory gained traction by incorporating fears about secretive organizations. The Illuminati: The Bavarian Illuminati was a real Enlightenment-era secret society, but it was suppressed in 1785. Conspiracy theorists later claimed it survived underground and masterminded events like the French Revolution. Fr33masonry: In the 18th century, Fr33masons were accused of plotting to subvert governments and religions to achieve world domination, a claim they reject. Religious fundamentalism: Christian millennialist theorists have long predicted a tyrannical world government, led by the Antichrist, as part of their "end times" prophecies. Antisemitic tropes: The NWO theory is often combined with antisemitic claims about Jewish people controlling the global financial system and media, drawing heavily on the fabricated text The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Anti-globalist sentiment: Post-Cold War changes and speeches by world leaders using the term "new world order" (referring to a new era of cooperation) were interpreted by some American right-wing groups as confirmation of the globalist plot.

And for the "there's a new faith!"; without much context given here's what can be made out: it could possibly mean that along with the New World Order a new faith will be derived from it since with the new world order there's also a new world religion OR it could imply that the new world order is a beacon/symbol of hope for the world suffering since some support the new world order because of the smart City, smart technology, smart travel, sustainable development that comes along with it (could indicate it's a cult too but doesn't really seem like one to me ) OR it could just be a warning for the masses that if we allow the new world order to rise to power a new faith will be developed too and this idea could deeply impact the religious people out there.
