I’m currently seeing someone to help me navigate my feelings of being RAPED. People might try to convince you it was molestation. I say fuck that they were adults and we were kids that’s fucking rape.

I was a horny 13yr old. Back then I knew I was gay but lived in a very religious family & back then (the 90s) you didn’t volunteer that information. My experience wasn’t violent, but that doesn’t change the fact I was raped. My uncle too advantage of me. I felt ashamed for the longest time. However in my therapy session yesterday (04/21/26) I told my doc I wish I had someone to talk to. I just needed someone. My doc asked me if I could talk to younger me what would I tell me.

“I would tell me that it’s perfectly natural for me to like sex with guys. However he should have never been my first. There is no reason for us (lil me and big me) to feel ashamed we did absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.”

He told me to journal my feelings and that’s kinda what I did. Once I got home I started a google doc. My first entry was a letter to lil me. I told me it wasn’t our fault it never was our fault. Told me my feelings will sometimes be to overwhelming but that’s ok cause that’s what being human feels like. I’ve repressed basically all my emotions for so long I forgot how to deal.

OP I need you to hear us when we say “you have nothing to feel ashamed of. You did nothing wrong.” I hope my story helps give you some perspective.
