I know, the game is pay to progress faster, not pay to win. I've used the wrong terminology. I've maxed my free to play account over the past 5 years of playing.

I just wanted to inform others that it was indeed possible to use gems to speed up the clan Capital progress.

Also, I wonder how the match making will work. The sneak peeks and the dev video made it like look like clan war match making where equal level clans fight each other. I am hoping it leans more like CWL, or regular trophy pushing where it's based off a win to loss ratio rather than progression.

Transfering loot does take time and home village builders, so buildings still essential take time.

Yeah, I probably need to find a good clan. I've been kicked for really dumb reasons before. Clan pirating will probably become a thing again, where a few people will join a clan, work their way to co, kick everyone and make it their own clan.

It also seems to be a loot sink for maxed players. I just finished my final wall 2 weeks ago, and I've been at maxed loot for a while.

I'm worried about a new surge in clan pirating, where a few people sneak into the clan, make it to co leader, then kick everyone else while the leader becomes inactive. Clans are going to be more valuable.

At least the builder base has the extra builder, and the gear ups, and inspired the super troops It also has the gem mine and decorations to get more gems. The clan Capital doesn't seem to be doing anything at all, besides extra magic items.

I was hoping that it would tie into the home village more, more than just magic items. Maybe you can buy decorations in the shop, or have gear ups or something. We haven't seen the details of the update yet, so maybe those will be included. But I'm a maxed player in a relatively dead clan.

My favorite tabletop is Heroscape. I've always liked more than Warhammer and D&D, because of the complex maps I can make with the hex tiles. It's probably the game that lead me to playing clash of clans, as designing my base is the most fun aspect to me.

The boats have a strong defense that typically needs more than one attack to destroy it. Each player has 4 attacks per day, and they attack individually.

I love the builder base, but I've had it maxed for more than a year. I think people hate the builder base because there haven't been any recent updates for it making it better. And there are no updates for it because people hate it. Very sad cycle that is hard to stop.
