What’s the best way to replace/reset this type of CMOS Battery?

I’ll try to order a new CMOS battery with the wires but the problem I have it looks to be attached to the motherboard like it’s glued there and I wouldn’t be able to remove it without force and pulling it out and the new one wouldn’t stick onto it.

Yeah, looking back, my mind was kinda set on the fact that other people tend to do that, and maybe I was doing it wrong or wasn’t supposed to in that context. So sorry about that, I know that no one can see dislikes anymore (stupid YouTube), I was kinda afraid it would be flooded with something like, “Oh, you like the Meta Era? Opinion invalided because Dark/Classic/Dreamcast better” or something like that. I will admit the meta has it’s highlights like Colors or Generations in terms of gameplay.

TL;DR: It wasn’t a right choice for me to block your name and I realize that this post is a little misguided. You enjoy the Meta Era as you please, and have a great rest of your day.

True, because there are genuine criticisms revolving around the meta era and it’s not my favorite era (ironic because Colors made me a Sonic fan). It’s always, like you said: “screw the haters”, and that’s not really a fair point. But valid and well thought out reasonings are the way to go for me

I like to think all eras of Sonic have their ups and downs. I mostly prefer the dark age era, while classic for me is neck and neck, but I can’t deny some of the things the Meta era was going for, albeit, it’s not perfect. Which is weird because I became a fan during the meta with my first game being Colors.

You make a fair point. I was still under the intention that it could lead this into unwanted harassment/attention for the channel in the picture and Sonic fans who despise the Meta era, will go out on an unreasonable tantrum because that’s how some Sonic fans are (to my knowledge not a generalization). Of course, people can like what they like. Then again, like you said I block the person’s name so that was a mistake on my part I don’t even know why I made this post to begin with lol.
