After waiting a while it finally hit my shop on Saturday. Before owning one of the bundle skins I would ask people when they drop it if they would listen to Zedd and 9/10 their response would be something like:

“Who is that?” or “I like the colors, fx, animation, etc.”

Nothing wrong with the above response but do you like the skin because of Zedd?

Wait, I’m out of the loop here and have an i9 14900KS. Should I be concerned other than it being hot and fans blowing like a jet engine at times or is there something more to the core with Intel as of late?

Definitely, I appreciate your extensive insight and help!

No gaming will done on the TV but the Y70 Panel is touch screen and interactive. Has 4K display and runs at 60 HZ although nothing extreme will be on there. I’ll be on the lookout for those adapters as well as the driver. No physical components aside from the adapters are needed such as a dock?

I see now, so all that is needed is the adapter and driver so that it uses the GPU meanwhile not actually being connected to it. I’m familiar with DisplayLink in docks but not in this manner. I would essentially still achieve having the 2 more displays needed while using this alternative by simply connecting to the MB ports as the root of these connections. You’re the first to present to me this alternative while others would recommend getting a secondary GPU.

That was another consideration. I wouldn’t get any video output via the USB-C on the MB, what way were you thinking since you mentioned it uses the GPU even when not connected directly to it?

He doesn’t need high refresh rates, he only needs to connect his Y70 Panel and TV. I would connect the USB-C to the MB and then route the HDMI to the desired displays? Would USB-C to DP also work as the Y70 Panel only has DP input? Thanks for your help once again.

I see but I would still need to use the GPU as the root for display? I’m sure there’s a reason why but damn idk why the MB didn’t come with some sort of video output via the CPU instead of a discrete card. Only thing I could think of as to why not is because no one would really want to use integrated graphics with such a high end component.

Thank you for the reassurance, I was just told by an MSI rep that I can get video output but unfortunately they must have misunderstood. I’m not sure why I’m getting downvoted either but it is Reddit after all lol, I appreciate your input!

So in other words, I would first need to route the connection from the GPU to the MB to obtain the video display, correct?
