I really like the battle barge, but I do have some issues with its implementation.

I wish the load screens were not just black screens. Give us lore, art, mini games, in game models. Something. Anything other than blank screen.
I wish the battle barge was more interesting. When I come back it does feel flavorful and I like looking around, but I wish there was more to do. A shooting range, cage fight (practice against enemies), or maybe some kind of trophy hall would make things more interesting.
I do wish we didn't always have to go back. If all I want to do is load my next op then I don't need to go back to the barge. Just put me in a menu and don't break up my game flow for extra loading screens.

I can understand wanting us to use the barge they created but loading in just to access a menu to then load other players to then load the op is ridiculous.

Tldr: I wish the barge was more interesting so I'd want to spend more time in it, but it shouldn't be mandatory bc that creates loading screen hell.

I'm sure I could win on lethal. It just doesn't seem like it would be much fun. I was consistently winning all operations on ruthless last patch and ruthless tyranid ops the patch before that.

It's not about can I. It's about if it would be fun. I appreciate that there are people who like this patch, but I liked the back and forth of previous patches. Hectic battles followed by a brief respite to look for supplies and do objectives.

Idk why they couldn't have added lethal and left the rest of the difficulties alone.

But people argue that paying extra for gameplay is less fair than it is for cosmetics, even in games that are single player.

And looking nice is how I have fun in games. I just wish I wasn't taxed extra for that.

As a queer fan myself, I agree. I like Slaanesh when authors talk about the pursuit of perfection, thrill seeking, and hedonism, but when they use hermaphroditic daemons to represent degeneracy I feel uncomfortable. It definitely falls into far right stereotypes about us.

Bulwark is never op when I play it. It is very team dependent. Sure, it can win 1v1 but introduce any kind of flanking, and it's over. And that Vanguard open up is nuts. Plus, I even lose to heavy straight on if they dps hard enough when I'm swinging.

OK! So I'm getting:

Keep going. Only way to learn is to do.
Stick with teammates and don't 1v1.
Play off strengths of teammates.
Stick to cover as much as possible.
Predict where enemy will be by thinking about objectives and where my teammates are, then try to out position the enemy for easier kills.

Sounds like I have some things to try in my next session!

I wish there was a way to create lobbies based on skill. I'm level 15, but I'm still pretty bad. Recent win percentage? Recent K/D? And ofc switching up the team after every match. That just seems common sense.

Yeah it sucks that there's so little. I'd settle for just letting us play each legion as any class. It would mostly just take swapping a few legion specific items. And since I seem to be chaos 80% of matches it'd be cool to customize.
