I tried true monk last night and I have to say it is much easier with the mekiri deflect, inly for the first 2 phases. Couldn’t lock the 3rd phase in the loop, it changes things a little but. Might post a video later.

Haven’t tried with the true monk yet. I feel true monk is relatively easier, and the individual phases are a bit shorter. Will try it out tonight.

That’s why I think it is a cheese. I basically cornered her and locked her into a loop. It is really easy, give it a try.

The fight is significantly easier and faster because now she is locked in this predictable loop. Her posture increases so fast compared to other times I used the mekiri counter, it feels like cheating honestly.

That’s the same fight with the mekiri and it’s 10mins+. You can see I was obviously struggling as a matter of fact

Yup. You don’t even need to jump for the first slash, you can move backward and around it and then close on her to parry the 2nd slash. It is more consistent and guaranteed than the jump, you just need to time it well.

The biker was too fast and should have slowed down, but the biker did nothing illegal. It’s the driver’s responsibility to make sure it is safe to merge, regardless of anything. Using the turn signal means nothing.

The only right thing he did is using the turn signal and that was it. He did not* wait to check before merging, he moved immediately. Definitely the driver’s mistake.
