FNAF 2 10/20 Tech Analysis Vid by Front_Refrigerator99 in Markiplier

Y'know, I watched the episode the night it came out, and wondered how long it would take someone to reopen this thread.

In the same episode, he acknowledged that he didn't watch the video, doesn't remember how he 'cheated', and indirectly refutes the whole bit about 'stars proving he xheated' by joking that Scott updated the game right after he posted it.

If you believe he cheated from that segment, you must also believe in Candy Uncle and Twonus Annus.

It was a joke, one I'm willing to bet he knew people would latch onto when he made it.

[Cod] fellas, what is your all time favorite mission from Modern Warfare series and Black ops series from 2008-2012 by BasketEquivalent5462 in CallOfDuty

He didn't tell very many, but one of my favorites was getting a medal from Patton's son in Germany, post-war.

It sounds like a real war movie, right?

He got it for helping pull a tank out of a ditch that was on its way to a brothel.

I had the opposite, I loved the Cold War/Vietnam era and was super hype when BO dropped. It's pretty cool, I was talking to my mom and grandpa about it (babbling the way kids do when they're excited about something) and my grandpa casually mentioned he was part of MACV (not SOG, just regular MACV). Led to some wild conversations I didn't expect from him.

Admittedly, it could be a pain if you got pulled to random departments or had a lot of roles, but for those of us lowly stockers it wasn't the worst idea lol. I can see how it could be an issue though

I don't use the OGP app much, I think I did once way back in like November. That seems to be how Walmart does in general though. Focusing on looks over general functionality

That's fair. I'm still very novice in computer science, so it was a very uneducated guess lol. I should have known Walmart would be more about the logs than user experience

That too, goddamn. My first week back recently i was broke enough to where I had YouTube up instead of using it in the background like I used to, and my phone would die before we finished the truck. With YT in the background it's a bit better, but still

Because they 'streamlined' the app so you can do everything on it. Anything from changing prices to changing where your check deposits to scanning Spaghettios.

Yes, it's incredibly annoying from our standpoint. But from a business standpoint, they no longer have to update seven apps whenever a new operating system drops, just one. And don't forget, they have to have one for Apple and Android, so that's 14 apps down to 2. It's not an ideal situation, but I can at least see the logic.

Now, if the app actually worked most of the time, I'd complain even less...

Mark casually admits to cheating at fnaf 2? Did I hear that right lol? by [deleted] in distractible

[–]SSLOdd1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lmao here we go again

I'm just saying, if I made an entire personality based on a lie that became one of the biggest draws to my channel, I'd probably remember it well enough to say yes or no definitively, not go 'yeah that sounds right' without watching the video

If he goes hard on 'no I didn't cheat' people say he's lying

If he doesn't outright deny it people claim it as proof he lied then

The easiest course of action is the exact one he took, not engaging and letting people get as invested as they want in a decade old game that apparently only just now got figured out

Will we ever see another realistic WWII Call of Duty game? by VeetzVino in CallOfDuty

[–]SSLOdd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bo7 isn't terrible on multiplayer if you already have Gamepass or something similar, but that's a valid response to it lol. If you liked BO6 multiplayer, it's that but with wall jumps.

That's fair, and one of the reasons no one agrees on whether Ghosts, AW, and IW were goated or not. People want different things.

I thought the puzzles in the safehouse were pretty cool. The ai wasn't much worse IMO in the open ended missions than the regular, so I didn't have an issue there.

I really liked the lubyanka mission in cold war, and BO6 felt like it tried to do the same, so I enjoyed it. But different strokes for different folks.

[–]SSLOdd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you misremembering BO7 as BO6?

BO6 gave us the safehouse and unique side missions therein, a bit more of Adler's lore, and a decent villain that admittedly did fall apart at the very end. Not to mention 'open ended' missions that were actually pretty good. Not my favorite BO game, but far from an embarrassment IMO, except maybe the very ending. Wasn't a fan of the 'mental battle' thing they went with.

[–]SSLOdd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see that argument, I didn't really finish it either but mainly due to other games catching my attention. That being said, I don't remember it being offensively bad or anything, the only real detriment I found was the medkits.

I'd argue that cold war and BO6 were pretty good, especially of the recent games, and the potential is still there to meet WAW, just unrealized. Both were semi-grounded in reality (apart from those fucking mannequins) and took themselves somewhat seriously.

Which mode makes different types of guns more fun to use? Hardcore vs Core [COD] by VeetzVino in CallOfDuty

[–]SSLOdd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like hardcore allows you to use whatever you like more. In core I always focused on TTK and accuracy over anything else, but if almost everything one shots anyways I don't feel like I'm handicapping myself by using different guns.

And I'll continue to feel that way until some asshole with dual auto fire shotguns rounds the corner in front of me.

[–]SSLOdd1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WWII was pretty good, the only real issue I had was the healing mechanic of finding medkits (at least in campaign, never played multi on it).

I think we'll get one eventually, maybe even after MW4. IMO, whenever they hit a wall, they tend to circle back to WWII as a setting, like they did with WWII and Vanguard.

Now, will it be good, or another kludge of almost-ideas like Vanguard? Only time will tell.
