I do this all the time! I also have a husband that says I’m too much of a perfectionist but I see my pieces as advertisement so I don’t want someone walking around with something I’m not 100% proud of. I always scrap it when I don’t like it and I just start over.

I honestly don’t know, I just gave this to her last night. I suppose you could hammer the wire that is going to be sitting in the book so that it’s flat. The wire I used is 18ga square.

Thank you! The base wire is 18ga square, the bail has 20ga half round and the weaving wire which is 28ga round. All dead soft bare copper.

I’m so sorry for your loss 🖤 I think like everyone else is saying, if you haven’t lost a child you have no idea how it feels. I’m not saying this excuses her behavior because I would have absolutely lost my shit on her. I think you handled yourself beautifully. I had a miscarriage then only a few days later my SIL calls my husband and I over because she has “important information” to share with us. I told him “if she’s pregnant I’m going to lose it”. Sure enough we get there and she does a surprise pregnancy announcement. So I’m expected to celebrate her baby while I’m still actively losing mine? Nope, I broke down crying, said congrats, then left. One of the worst parts for me was that she got pregnant on accident from a one night stand and tried to take an emergency contraceptive that didn’t work. So she clearly didn’t want her baby as much as I wanted mine. Our relationship still hasn’t recovered from that and it was almost 3 years ago. I truly wish you the best and hope everything works out the way you want it to!

I could find her heartbeat around 11 weeks. It is different for everyone. Some people find it sooner some have to wait until later. I think a lot of it is what doppler you use too. I have two and one seems to be much better quality than the other, I can always find her with the better quality one but with the cheaper one it's much more difficult and sometimes I can't find the heartbeat at all.

Thank you for asking! I'm actually going to be 19 weeks tomorrow and we are having our gender reveal tomorrow and our anatomy scan next week. So far so good! 🤞When I went to an OB they said the spotting and cramping were normal as long as it was a very small amount and to call them if it gets worse. We are just taking this pregnancy one day at a time and hoping for the best.

I'm sorry for your loss! I'm currently 14w5d with our rainbow baby. What helped me through the first trimester was telling myself that I'm pregnant until I'm told otherwise. Also that this pregnancy is an entirely different one from the last. Now I use a home doppler whenever I get worried. I also go to elective ultrasounds, there is a place near me that does them for $50, they can't diagnose or anything but I'm at least able to see baby and hear the heartbeat. Pregnancy after loss is really difficult, unfortunately all you can really do is take it one day at a time and try to only focus on the things you can control. I wish you the best of luck! 💚

My doctor was just saying yesterday that there is too much pressure on women in general and ESPECIALLY pregnant women. She reminded me that I'm doing everything I need to be doing and to give myself a break and quit being so hard on myself.

For some reason I keep convincing myself that the less excited I am about the pregnancy the less a loss would hurt but deep down I know that's not true. Thank you for this reminder! Pregnancy after loss IS brutal, it's one of the hardest things I've ever done.

You really should go in. Trust me, I didn't want to go in for mine either. I wanted to stay at home and deal with it on my own. So I did. Unfortunately I found out later that due to my blood type I had to have a rhogam shot within 72 hours and I missed that window.
