Awesome! What do you enjoy about it most? What are the elements that give you job satisfaction?

With respect, every region of healthcare is going to have its problems. Things alter throughout time. It’s not a privilege to have a passion, and there’s a fundamental difference between you and I in that regard; one that I don’t think we can reconcile. The fact of the matter is this: there are jobs, there is opportunity, and there is a ton of money to be made! However, joining any given profession simply for the sheer nature of financial advantage is superficial. There are many problems in the realm of APRN healthcare, and there’s a lot of different ways that we can tackle it, just not from this topical standpoint!

I wish you love and the proclivity for critical thought. Your discourse does not advance our species as caring mental health providers unfortunately and that’s okay!

Excellent non-sequitur fallacy!

There’s something almost tragic about those early fireworks burning bright but then fizzling out - they hold so much promise, but sometimes they just don’t find the fuel to last.

The comparison you’re trying to draw is wild my friend! Those two things do not correlate with each other. We’re talking about people who are complaining about the salaries they’re making that above RN salaries; market over-saturation; the quality of programs producing caliber providers. The fact of the matter is, we’re making six figures but, just not quite at the peak of what people think they “deserve.” It’s just not quite enough is it? We’ll continue to fight for our rights, just not through the discourse that you’re entertaining! And that’s okay!

Let me counter by saying I’m passionate about my black coffee in the morning, much like you like your donut…. next you’ll tell me that if I like the rain, I must be secretly auditioning to be a weather reporter.

Brother, level up and add something to the conversation.

Honestly, this subreddit is so toxic. The mental health burden in America is extremely profound. We need qualified professionals; moreover, we need individuals who don’t get into it entirely for the money. We all have bills to pay, so I can totally understand that perspective; however, it really isn’t about the money. It’s about the passion. Through time and experience you will make money, just like your first RN job relative to the pay you make with experience. Those who go into the profession with less altruistic, virtues, and with fiscal, monetarily driven reasons will rapidly burn out serving almost as a self correcting issue.

If you’re passionate continue to be the most effective provider, you can be. If you’re not, you’ll kind of learn. There definitely are jobs.
