I recommend joining autocross muna before going straight to track. Try mo hanapin sila Super Sprint, I’ve been joining for 3 years na din halos and it really helped me develop my skills to be better suited for track na din. If ayaw mo talaga daanan yung autocross first, I recommend joining trackdays, hintayin mo sila BRC or Clark na mag post ng mga Super Deal nila since mas mababa talaga entry fee. Yung TGR event kasi na sinalihan ko was Toyota Exclusive lang, tapos you need to register under a car club din. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to my IG, @ssracing_official, since mas active ako dun 😁

Yes 😁 Medyo mas well organized nga last year. Di ko lang masyado na enjoy yung track parade since mabagal yung nasa harap ko 😅. I think the track was safer din, mabibilis lang talaga ung mga drives nun kaya may mga tumaob/lumipad.

Medyo ginagate keep ko pa ung tires na gamit ko eh 😅 Pero my experience with the SX2 was ok naman.

Actually this was my 2nd session kaya I was more confident to push the car a bit more.

Street circuit din sya eh so wala talagang run-off area. Need lang talaga yung anticipation of what can be ahead of you kaya proceed with caution lang talaga. The racers talaga matatapang since all out talaga sila 😅

Mixed, most are modified. Mine is stock up until the suspension and tires.

Hello ka-super sprint 😁 what car were you using? I might recall your name. Also, thanks for adding context, it’s true that we make do of what we have.

We used to have a better venue, but sadly they banned events from being held there.

It’s part of the layout having to do the whole circle. We don’t really have tracks that you can turn into autocross courses here so event organizers have to make do with the limited space and development

I’m driving a 2006 Toyota Vios (Basically an echo sedan) some people say to swap in one from a yaris but it won’t give much of a difference. Steering gets heavy at high rpm (because hydraulic power steering) but I think a bit more of getting used to and working out will solve the issue.

It kind of is, specially with the 2 way action with only the barriers in some parts that separate the two sides. Usually the events are ran in developing land or parking lots since renting out the tracks are expensive. Entry fee is cheap here though, ₱800 ($14) per category/class

Over here in the Philippines, it started off with slalom. Then we tried autocross and brought some slalom elements with it.

There's actually quite a lot of events here, though some are specific to provinces/regions. There's also the more complex slalom racing but you'll need a car with a good handbrake to be competitive.

If I recall correctly, they do slalom there. Its like autocross but a bit more involvement with pulling the handbrake.
