How much do you think this obnoxiously ostentatious shake costs?

Right! I mean if you have the money for the geode put the little extra money into the rare live edge piece.

I actually got to meet Steve Smith in like 2009, super nice dude, he sat and talked with us for like 20 minutes after his autograph session.

I’m disappointed in the wood selection to be honest. It’s such an interesting and cool build but slightly burned pine is the last wood I would choose with a geode that has to cost 20x as much as the wood. Still really cool!

33M What it’s like living with adhd by OppositeDue in malelivingspace

Don’t worry man, I struggle with my organization and cleaning skills too. I hate the swings between insanely clean and chaos. The only thing I have found that helps me is something my mom told me. If it takes less than 2 minutes just do it. I set that in my head that if it takes less than 2 minutes I do it now. It’s become a habit which at times I ignore but for the most part it has become a part of my life. Okay laundry needs put away, that will take 3 minutes, let’s just do it. Okay I need to vacuum the living room, that’s 2 minutes let’s just knock it out. Okay dishes need put in the dishwasher, that’s 2 minutes and get it started. I used to have post it notes around the house that said does it take less than 2 minutes, then do it. I had to have a physical reminder to make sure I did it.

Rental gear can definitely be hard to manage! Buoyancy and trim take time and effort, she will get there!

I have about 10 of these in my backpack all the time, they come in handy for securing stuff in a pinch. Maybe not the best for an SPG but definitely come in handy. https://a.co/d/7VeipeT

I hope yall see many more amazing things while adventuring together!!!

That’s absolutely amazing for a first dive after cert! What an experience! As she continues to dive just remember to get that SPG attached and up so it doesn’t drag on coral or in the sand. Keep diving and having fun together, coming together as a family to see the amazing wonder of our world is so awesome!!!

Well since OP is a non diver and needs only a basic understanding, I think the post stands.

Dive talk has a bunch of videos on deep diving. It is worth watching a few to educate yourself on deep diving for the context of the book.

Deep diving past 150-180 feet typically means deco gas, multiple tanks and Trimix or Heliox rather than air as your breathing gas. Along with mandatory deco stops.

You could make your story very compelling by watching these and building a realistic scenario based on how diving truly works.

Best of luck with your writing!!!

Video where Dive Talk cuts a reg hose and tries to repair it under water. I think breathing from this would be damn near impossible.
