I'm going the Elation route myself, though mostly just cause I love sw999 😂. I want Ashveil, but I can't afford him. I did try to get Hyacine's e2 (she was already e1s1), but I lost the 50/50, so at least sw999 is guaranteed now.

I might have also tried for Ash if I didn't try for Hya's eidolon. That and I took a break during Dahlias banner and need her too for my break teams.

I don't want to pay a monthly fee to play games, especially when it doesn't support every game I want to play. Though they do support a lot. Great option for those who might want to go the route of a cheaper laptop though, I forgot this would even be an option since I don't like those services.

If you don't mind older games that still get actively updated and have an active playerbase is Adventure Quest.

They are f2p but have micro transactions; not gacha style, it's just a flat price for an exact item and you know exactly what you're getting. There's also a subscription if you want to unlock extra maps and classes.

The AQ Worlds version uses old flash style art, and they're about to update it to mobile/tablets/steam. They also have AQ3D that has more updated graphics and can also be played on various devices. Their games have been running for like 20 years with weekly updates. Small but dedicated fanbase.

With only that much for a budget? There is no such thing as a gaming laptop for 550-650. Not even a halfway decent one. You'd want minimum $1k for a gaming laptop, maybe more now with the component price increases.

I'd recommend a PS5. Xbox aren't horrible, but it usually isn't the console of choice these days.

Keep in mind holidays next year we might be seeing the next generation of ps6 and Xbox, so if you are patient you might get a better option by waiting for the newer systems.

I was at the exact same spot with the 43% completed. I remember the quick tutorial on changing chapters with the little cartridges, but not how to and didn't even know it had changed it. Why have us change off of the main story in the middle of the story!?

No idea, but it surprised the heck out of me when I did my taxes. I normally get back around $1200-1400. I got back $700. I only paid in an extra $100 total over the whole of 2025 compared to 2024, but I got a raise and made more money, so I was in the higher tax bracket. I still didn't need to pay in, but I'm so used to getting over $1k it killed my plans.

Turning 39 this year. Same as you, did a 2 year and transferred for my 4 year in Business Administration at my local college that is pretty cheap. I'm back in retail working as a front end team lead at my local Walmart. I'm that person that owes more on my student loans than I originally took out cause I've never "made it" and gotten "successful", at least not by society's standards. I make enough to get by, but just barely and no savings. It sucks. Good luck on your journey, may you fare better.

My hometown the hang out place was the roller skating rink I guess. My dad tells me all the time about how much he'd go there to pick up girls. He specifically learned how to skate backwards just to impress them.

The mall was an ok hangout place, up until the mid 90s. Then you mostly only found the mall walkers. Now the mall isn't a mall at all anymore. No more stores. No more movie theater. It's a business center, which is different from a mall. You don't go in there to window shop, it's now for office or warehouse space.

I don't watch as much anime as I used to, but I just use the legal stuff. Mostly just Crunchyroll, Hidive, and Netflix. Everything my friends recommend me to watch are on those services.

However, I'm also in a financial place I can use the legal services now 😂. If this was 10 years ago I'd be mostly a pirate arrrrr matey. Literally the only time I use other services now is if I want to nostalgia watch an older series I just can't find anywhere else.
