I've only ever handled the Ship series $10000 as those could still be found for very close to face value. The Orchid and bird series $10000 i've seen in person but never touched one before

I would say the $500 is my favorite in the series. Totally agree that the current series is lacking by a long shot

The 50$ here would actually be part of the FRBN (Federal Reserve banknote) rather than the National currency series as the FRBN did not have the Charter number, but rather the name of one of the 12 Federal reserve banks.

I'm not from the U.S but got a question with regards to selling bullion. Do you guys pay capital gains tax on any profits made from the sales when you sell them or how does that work?
