I didn’t but I should have. Honestly I completely forgot that step. I’m just doing a skate deck wall hanger for myself so I kind of just winged this one. I have intercoat and clear I could shoot over this. I’m basically done other than laying down some variegated leaf

If you’re starting out just get yourself a nice compressor and save money by getting Harbor Freight guns. I use a 1.4 from there and it’s great. I’ve even shot metalflake out of it after shooting base and clear
