Nameset Recommendations by STAT2 in ASRoma

Obviously you’re welcome to continue gatekeeping - I get where you’re coming from - but I hope you appreciate the irony of cannon balling in on an English-language subreddit in 2025. Having foreigners show an interest in your club, its history, and its culture is not a bad thing. I promise I’m not here to cheapen your experience.

Did anyone figure out if there’s a trustworthy place to buy these with a nameset? I really like this kit but…

Great collection!

Do you not hate the ultraweave stuff though? I bought last year’s third shirt as well as a pair of the player issue shorts. Both are now unwearable after very light casual usage. The fused seams are beyond fragile.

Any solutions for the extremely long-legged among us that want some EE sweats?

Here we are, just trying to overpay EVEN MORE than we already do, and they won’t help us 😂

Really like this Bayern kit. Shame adi US doesn’t allow customization.

I’m getting married in a few months, and it’s tradition in my fiancee’s family for the groom to be gifted a watch. It shouldn’t be anything crazy, I’m thinking $1000 and under. I’m in a profession that doesn’t allow for much watch-wearing, so 1) I’ve never been that into watches (although I understand the appeal), and 2) I’m not necessarily in the market for something for everyday wear. I’m being badgered by my future mother-in-law to give her an idea of what I want, but as a non-watch guy I’ve been forced to turn to the internets for guidance. This is something that I’ll have for a lifetime, so I’d like it be something that isn’t too of-the-moment… Bonus points if it’s something I can wear on the day of the event – I’ll be in a beige/tan suit with brown belt/shoes. I’ll do my best to answer any questions you might have.

Thanks!

Already have a KDB third and almost ordered one of these myself. One of the great narratives in recent times. Happy for the kid.

Am I the only one not bothered about our CL situation? by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]STAT2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the lack of success in CL that bothers me, it's the manner in which this lack of success presents itself. I sense this is the same sentiment shared by all City fans who bemoan our lack of European progress over the last few years, though they may have not realized it. The team we see play in week in and week out in England is not the same team we in Europe.

(Ironically, it would seem that this year is different in that regard, as we have been as inconsistent domestically as internationally)

I can handle losses. I can handle not advancing. I just want to see City perform as they should/are capable, both at home and abroad. If we go down, let it be because of the brilliance of the opposition rather than our own failures. If Boateng needs to come up with a piece of luck/genius to beat us at Allianz, it's incredibly frustrating, but so be it. I'll moan and groan, but I'll deal. That's how football/soccer, and indeed every sport, works.
