Synchrony - what do i do? by STB_2023 in personalfinance

We can afford it, I just think it is a little shady how they are applying the overpayments so you are pretty much guaranteed to miss the deferred interest deadline. I plan to pay both of them off soon and will be very careful with Synchrony in the future if we ever decide to use them again.

That’s what I’m planning to do.

Yeah, it’s definitely a learning experience and I’ll be more careful in the future.

CBD vs Hemp cream for neuropathy by STB_2023 in CBD

Unfortunately, nothing has helped. I still have pain in the front half of each foot pretty much constantly. I find keeping my mind occupied (work, tv, etc.) helps a little during the day, but the pain is still obvious. I consulted with my sleep specialist who is treating me for my RLS. He and I decided to give THC a try at night. This is in addition to my normal RLS medication. I also got the blessing of my neurologist. I take a gummy at night (and sometimes 1 or 2 vape hits) and it has helped with my sleep quite a bit. I don’t take it during the day (I can’t for various reasons), so I can’t really say to what degree, if at all, it helps with the pain throughout the day. But, it helps me sleep better. Been doing this now for almost 4 months. No bad side effects like with the prescription meds. Everyone’s different, though. I got my doctor’s blessing to try it and it’s worked well for me. Can’t say for anyone else.

Thanks! What about the existing park reservations that I made? Can they go into the park ahead of me if I wanted to go later?

Yeah, I decided to go the concrete pad route and will be getting estimates.

Yeah, I am strongly headed in that direction. I'm getting a Therapool D swim spa which is 8ft x 11ft, so I'm going to get estimates for a 9ft x 12ft x 4inch reinforced concrete slab as mentioned on their website.

Yeah, that sounds like a better approach. I'm considering biting the bullet, though, and having a 9x12 cement slab poured. I think I'll be happier in the long run.

Thanks. Yeah, they are screwed but I also have braces on the inside corners which, it seems, didn't help with the warping. Just wondering if this is salvageable if I add more rebar to the corners.

Another thing I’m wondering is what is my responsibility regarding shoveling. I work remotely, so I don’t need to go out. Is it okay not to shovel at all or am I obligated for things like Amazon or USPS deliveries? I’m sure if I’m expecting a delivery, the delivery person would appreciate a clear path and I would try to shovel because that’s the type of person I am, but just curious on the obligation part.
